A Great Getaway

We had such a nice time! There was room for everyone and we had everything we needed. The kids loved the pool table and the trails. We loved the comfy couch and the views. If we'd had time to stay longer, we would have definitely considered it. It was a beautiful time to spend with our family in a beautiful place. Thank you!

Beautiful

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was beautiful and fun. It was so well decorated. The property is gorgeous. We had everything we needed and was great for a group of family with kids to grandparents. Wasn't too far to get food and to Mesa Verde, but private and remote to feel like a peaceful getaway. My only suggestion was I wish there were directions of where all the thermostats were. We were cold the first couple of days until we could find them all. We said we would love to plan another trip to this area just so we can stay in this house again!

Beautiful home in a perfect location!

Home was close to Mesa Verde National park and Durango. We had so much to do such as zip lining in Durango and paddle boarding on Nighthorse Lake. But, you never have to leave the house. There are 300 acres to explore. We brought two dogs with us and felt like they were welcome. They even had water bowls for our dogs. We cleaned up after them so we can bring them back some day. I would love to visit again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quiet farm. It was easy to check in, you need a 4 wheel drive car at this time to comfortably make it around. The house was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. Lots of snow this year, so we had a lot of fun right on the property. We skied so we used the jacuzzi everyday, well maintained. Fire place is wood burning, and they stocked plenty of dry wood. The company was responsive and helpful. I would recommend this property!!!

Spectacular Stay in a Beautiful Home

Our family stayed in this well-equipped, spacious and comfortable facility from the evening of April 3 to the morning of April 8, 2023. Notwithstanding the heavy snowfall on April 4, the home provided us with a very enjoyable indoor experience while we enjoyed some family activities, played pool, and watched programming on the many TV's throughout the home. With regard to sleeping arrangements, there was something for everyone including three master bedrooms, one loft bedroom that included a bunk bed and a twin, and a room with a bunk bed off of one of the master bedrooms to allow oversight of some of the smaller children. There were several bathrooms that were all well equipped and one bathroom had a beautiful tub for relaxing. There was also an outdoor hot tub which many of the family enjoyed notwithstanding the early spring cold. On the morning following the snowstorm, I found two pairs of snow shoes outside on the front porch. I donned the men's pair and hiked up the valley behind the home to a spot just below the mesa that overlooks the area. The snow and the scenery were simply exhilarating and that one experience made the whole vacation worthwhile. Probably the only drawback of the home were some of the kitchen appliances, particularly the range and ovens that were old and difficult for heating including one burner that blackened everything it heated. The other appliances were in good condition. Overall the stay was magnificent, and we enjoyed it very much.

What a shame to have only slept here!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Three couples met at this vacation rental between Mancos and Durango. It is just off highway 160. The area around the house was breathtaking and would have been great to explore and to just relax a day there. Again, what a shame to have just slept there as we were being pretty standard tourists in the area visiting all the things there is to do from the "Train" to Mesa Verde and more.We had a few issues with the remote controls not working for the TVs and one light and fan and a bad GFCI outlet in one of the bedrooms, but it was all fixed without problem or issue! We later found, and did report, a couple of minor plumbing issues and we know that they will be addressed. We were a little surprised to find that the house had a Jack and Jill bathroom for the upstairs bedrooms, which had no locks. We weren't sure how to share that bathroom with the couple that was in the other bedroom. We decided to let them use the J&J bathroom and we used the bathroom downstairs. That bathroom could use some hooks for hanging towels and clothes, (locks too). Not a real fan of putting my clean clothes on the floor or toilet. There wasn't a lock on that door either. The pkgs of lotion and shampoo were very nice along with the supplies in the kitchen. The house was basically very clean. I did sweep dog hair that was in the breeze way off the kitchen and also in the laundry room. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed all the space in the kitchen and living room along with sitting around the beautiful dining room table.We would, without a doubt, rent this house again! Issues were handled immediately and the management company was really easy to contact and work with. It sure beat the other businesses/sites! Wish they were all this easy to do business with. The owner was awesome as well! Glad a made a call to some realtors in Durango!
