"This adorable house was perfect for our family while we were in the area touring colleges with our daughter. It is adorable, tastefully decorated, beds/furniture are comfortable, and sitting around the fire after touring colleges in the rain was a perfect way to end our day. The listing and photos are 100% accurate. We hope to come back soon to enjoy the lake, wineries, and all the outdoor activities in the area. Thank you for being amazing host!"

"The place is awesome. I loved the view of the slopes! And the whole feel is a ski cabin. The living room area was great with ample comfy seats and seats for eating at table and at island. Loved the (gas) fireplace. The kitchen was so well stocked with basics - from oil and vinegar, to coffee filters, to aluminum foil. Note that the amazing proximity to the mountain means being 15 minutes from groceries and restaurants. The one big note is that there's a cool spiral staircase to an awesome loft...

"We had a fantastic vacation in the Finger Lakes, and our stay at Casa Carmela was certainly a highlight. The view is amazing looking out over Owasco Lake and we enjoyed the use of the kayaks and boat. The house is in a great location to access western NY, the other Finger Lakes, and Syracuse. Wish we could have taken advantage of the ice cream and mini-golf up the hill, but maybe we'll be back in the summer months!"

"Beautiful home within easy walking distance to the village. We found it super clean & well-appointed. Would stay there again in a New York minute. Had a great meal at the Sherwood Inn within walking distance & a nice lunch at the Blue Water Grill as well. The fenced backyard was great for our dog. You won't find a better spot for your visit to Skaneateles!"

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed a few nights on the banks of Cayuga Lake, while being very close to Ithaca and surrounding natural areas of interest. We loved the warm wood floors and overall timeless character of the home. Great views of the lake including awesome master bedroom views as well. The outdoor stairs and decking all appeared recently updated and provided good access to the dock and water. We had pretty decent weather to fish a bit off the dock with the kids, but it was too chilly to...

"The property was in a beautiful location. Quiet and nice hikes around the area. The kitchen was well equipped with all your needs and the beds were very comfortable. We had 4 adults in our group and there was plenty of room.The property could use a really good deep clean. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property."

"This house worked very well for our family weekend. Dining area had a large table that easily accommodated our group of 8 adults. Kitchen was well stocked and we had what we needed to cook some great meals. Beds were very comfortable which allowed for a good nights sleep. Great set up in the living area so we could all gather there and be comfortable. House was very clean and we had plenty of parking."

"We stayed for nine days and enjoyed the three bedrooms and big living room. The neighborhood was quiet and safe feeling. The house was immaculate. Parking was a plus with the circle driveway. Debby, the manager checked in with us and made sure everything was good and offered to fix anything that we informed her of. The only issues we had were that the walk-in shower was small, so we used the other tub/shower and the stools were small to get up on the bed with ( I would suggest a medical step),...

"We had a wonderful weekend stay at this lovely lakeside cottage. And when say “lakeside” I mean 20 feet from the back porch to the lake shore! (No trudging up and down flights of stairs so typical of finger lake houses to get to the water!) Our 5 year old grandson had the time of his life collecting clam and snail shells on the shore, and roaming around the lovely shore-side, privacy-fence-enclosed lawn. The weather is still cool in this area at this time of year so we made good use of the fire...

"We booked for my father‘s 70th birthday as a little getaway because he fiercely did not want a birthday party. We planned on hiking however, the weather didn’t agree. The host was kind enough to let us in a few hours early to get out of the rain. We ended up getting Cornell ice hockey tickets And enjoying the Jacuzzi spa. It was just a nice weekend together as family!!"

"Tom and Lisa did an amazing job on this treehouse. They stock everything you would need throughout your trip. It truly is magical and I can’t wait to come back. They were extremely helpful finding the treehouse and showing you around the property. The view on the platform and the outdoor shower was great. Truly an unforgettable experience!"
