「The whole hotel was lovely. Our room was nicely put together and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.」

「Great place to stay」

「The service was excellent, especially the handsome man in charge of the front desk」

「Very nice. Everyone was friendly. A little over priced.」

「Breakfast on Friday was great. Breakfast and staff on Saturday was not. I asked for Oatmeal at 9am, when Breakfast went until 10.. and was told there was no more. There were 2 kinds of omelets and 2 kinds of Sausage. Friday was scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage. I guess they down the food for a full hotel. The room and front desk staff were great. Was weird to have to request a coffee pot, but they have them packed in a bag ready at front desk for you to take to room.」

「What an absolutely amazing property to unwind and relax. I booked the room intending to stay in all day and it was PERFECT. It is clean and better than the photos which is not typically how rentals are!」

「Nice place. Only stayed 1 night and wished we could of stayed longer. Maybe next time. Probably not good for little kids. Older adults - it works well」

「Excellent staff customer service, clean room, comfortable bed and quiet.」

「The Garden Gate is a wonderful place, and I hope it will remain that way after is sold by the current owners. Carol the current owner has taken so much pride in her facility and invested so much of herself operating her business. Her influence is everywhere, but she has decided it is time for a new venture in her life, and so well deserved for her and Doug. We wish them the best as we do the new owners. If we make it back to Amish country, I would not hesitate to reserve another room.」

「Breakfast was good. Joy the owner was super sweet. Very nice person. I think the house is just to much for one person to take care of. Place is very old, which is fine, but just not well maintained , cluttered, and the grounds outside needs better taken care of. Pictures on website I believe are old. Things around grounds are just not well taken care of. Road leading to place is terrible which isn't the inns fault. Relaxing but could use a fire pit somewhere.」
