“Communication from the owner was excellent. The staff was amazing and patient with our lack of Spanish. The food was delicious and made dining stress free for my wife and me. The grounds and pool were also quite nice. If “bang for your buck” is a priority, I recommend La Maracuya. It’s a little remote, but we wanted some quiet time, and the location didn’t prevent us from exploring. We visited the pacific beaches and El Valle de Anton via rental car. Thanks for caring for us during our stay!”

“It was an amazing stay, we went there for our anniversary and we had such a great time! The room was squeaky clean, the staff was very helpful always able to help with suggestions and making our stay as comfortable as possible, the beach is a few steps away and the beach chairs were so comfy. Complex is Directly on the beach with several lounge chairs and umbrella areas on the property. It’s a rocky beach in front of the hotel but good swimming on the left near the river. ”

“Horrible customer service, tried calling to cancel as our flights to Panama were cancelled and they had no number to call, the number given was a house number. Expedia tried calling and no answer in the end we lost out on our money, we lost out on the hotel. ”

“The hotel is beautifully located surrounded by a tropical garden. We had a luxury room with a pretty view but to get there we had to climb very steep steps. The food was very good but the dinner/lunch menu was the same the 4 days we stayed there. ”

“Everything was great at the site. Beautifully appointed with lacquered wood, stucco, and tiles. The grounds are also beautiful. The host, Victoria, was unusually obliging. Can't say enough about this one. The downside is that Expedia booked two rooms for me and I was charged for the one I didn't need. ”
