"The room itself was a refreshing upgraded modernly convenient space with apple work/ living space separate from the bed area. There were two separate desk areas with ample outlets to plug in that all included USB and USBC plugs in every outlet. There was various lighting for different areas for any need and even mirrors that light up in the bathroom and a separate mirror and makeup area with its own counterspace and chair. The kitchenette was awesome and in a separate room entirely with a cooktop sink fridge microwave and table to done at. Really put those corporate chain hotels to shame with the updated technology friendly and spacious amenities. Almost forgot to mention the very new 65 inch flat screen tv icing on the cake really. Well done friendly staff clean towels and linens I will be absolutelu be staying here again "

"I love this hotel, I stay here every time I’m coming to Newport Beach for business. Great customer service, quiet and clean rooms. Easy access to restaurants and the neighborhood is walkable an safe. After a long day at work I like to walk along Santa Isabel St toward the estuary, a nice place. Recommended. "

"It wasn't my best trip to the Vagabond which I stay at a couple times a month for 2 to 3 days. Staff is great, this is a budget hotel, but is clean, affordable, has coffee in lobby 24/7 and a great pool and awesome hot tud. Other good things are the ice machine is always working, the shower pressure is good, microwave, fridge, and TV are also good. Same parking lot as In and Out which makes it safe. Unfortunately this trip was just not going my way. I really wanted to take a hot tub which is a big reason I choose this Vagabond and it was cold. Total bummer!!! At 6AM the fire alarm went off in the room next door and was on for20 minutes. It was the 1 day I had planned to sleep in until 8AM. Got my day started early that day. the TV channel I wanted to watch had no sound? I don't know why. Usually this is a solid stay for cheap with this huge old Gunite hot tub with amazing jets. The staff is good, and things go smooth. My stay was okay, but not what I am use to at this site."

"The Internet was acceptable. Was slow a few times throughout my weekend stay. Breakfast was a little lack luster with it only having Waffles, Muffins, Cinnamon rolls, coffee, and juice. Didn't have any water to drink or to fill my water bottle. The room was comfortable and clean, but bathroom had a small packet of shampoo for my weekend stay. Staff was nice and understanding when it came to things I was confused about. Overall the stay I had was good."

"Very dirty sheets had cigarette burns and hit water didnt work horrible horrible horrible and i asked for a discount or refund and they said contact hotels.com and i replied i paid here, over all horrible service and rooms suck do not go here!"
