"The experience was positive overall, characterized by a well-maintained environment and helpful staff, with the room also noted for its cleanliness. However, it is important to note the absence of air conditioning, with only fans provided in the room. Additionally, elevator access is limited to the first floor, requiring guests to use a steep second flight of stairs, which may present a challenge for elderly individuals.."

"The room was spacious and very comfortable, the pool and jacuzzi were brilliant. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The weather was very hot and our first evening we were able to sit outside in the shade to eat, after that food was not served outside or in the lounge after 6 pm. We found this disappointing as we didn’t want to eat in the restaurant. This was the only negative of our stay (we stayed for four nights) The staff were polite and helpful at all times."

"Breakfast very poor both days Closed the outside seating area (30d) and restaurant for a private party,they should think about the people staying in hotel o they did not. Check out,come down stairs to reception you could not move for people and also outside on pavement. + Room was excellent plus the Bar staff was excellent."

"We enjoyed another relaxing stay here in a beautiful, spacious suite with a private garden. We wished we could have stayed longer. We’ve been eating and staying here since our first visit in 1991, so they’re doing something right. We love the village, the grounds with the lawn to the stream, and the nearby villages. Staff were friendly and helpful, supplying fans in the heatwave. The food was excellent - we ate dinner outside on the terrace, from the bar menu - and breakfast the next morning was equally good. It was a shame that builders were repairing pathways with some noise and dust. Nevertheless, we’ll be back."
