"I absolutely loved my stay at The Slaughters Country Inn. The whole place has this slow-paced, charming atmosphere that makes you instantly relax. The venue itself is gorgeous — full of character and set in one of the most picturesque areas I’ve visited. The coffee deserves a special mention: it was the best I’ve had on this entire trip so far. Paired with the peaceful surroundings, it made my morning feel perfect. There’s also an amazing walk right on the doorstep, which made exploring the area even better. I’d return in a heartbeat… in fact, I just might."

"What a charming cottage, clean, well furnished, and conveniently located just one block from the River Windrush and the local shops and restaurants. It's a perfect place from which to explore Bourton-on-the-Water. Just one hiccup -- the latch of the washing machine broke with out wet laundry still inside it -- but Dawn was nice enough to take our phone call after 9pm at night, and let us know where we could locate the appropriate tools, and even offered to have a repairman come in the morning. We'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a weekend getaway here."
