"We arrived on Sunday and the front door was closed with no staff on site. We had not realized that we had to use the code emailed to us to get in. Apparently they do not have any staff on site on Saturday or Sunday at reception other than for breakfast service. It’s a lovely old building and more like an appartment hotel. Parking was great on site and breakfasts very good."

"As a regular visiter to this hotel I can not recommend enough. Emma on reception was as usual helpful & very professional and a credit to the hotel. Well done keep up the good work I will be back!! 😎"

"The room we had was nice and spacious with good wardrobes and storage spaces. The room, kitchen and bathroom were clean. The staff were friendly. The location was good for getting into town and you could see the river close by from some rooms. Overall a great stay. I would stay again and would reccommend it."

"Staff was great. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was OK. AC did not work. Hotel is on main street of a very busy section of town and parking was difficult to find."

"The room safe didn’t work and the front staff advised it was impossible to fix it. The toilet seat was very loose. On the positive side, it was very close to the train station and reasonably clean"

"Second time here! The rooms are clean and huge. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. Great Little bar and you can walk everywhere or take the bus within 3-4 minutes of walking. "
