“Everything is ok but the reception is impolite and not helpful at all. No service at all and no one will pick up the phone at the reception. ”

“The Pointer was very clean, the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The only negative was the online check in. The staff don’t actually receive it, so a waste of time doing it. Also the online checkout showed that I still owed for the room, but had been fully paid on booking.”

“A truly delightful hotel in a convenient location with excellent staff and facilities. Impossible to fault overall - 2 tips… dont park under the trees in front of the building. I dont know what the birds eat, but they eat A LOT of it. Then theres steps….pack light, you’ll be hauling your luggage up a LOT of steps :-) - its a 13th century manor house, lifts werent a “thing” !”

“My cousin and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Area was nice and clean. Fortunate to get good weather to enjoy the grounds. Got to see horse dressage and the breakfast was enjoyable. Saw peacocks, birds, sheep, and the dog. We had both the veggie and non-veg option. Uber was our mode of transport- each trip into town was between 15-20 GBP. Nice pub within walking distance. Excellent city break. Would highly recommend.”
