Perfect place

We loved staying here. Such a cut and comfy spot! With so many thoughtful and convenient things like detergent, makeup wipes, and lots of stuff in the fridge! The perfect birthday spot with a wonderfully hot, hot tub!

Wonderful home. Highly recommend

The house smelled clean when we walked in and it was very clean. Decor was very cute. Had everything we needed and more. Hot tub was wonderful. Robes and slippers for hot tub very nice. House is close to road and traffic can be loud, but a no so much in the evening. I would stay here again.

Delightful road trip oasis!

Such a convenient location with short drives to stores and the Animal Safari. The home is very clean and full of anything you could need to feel at home. The hottub robes and slippers were a sweet amenity that made the kids feel special. We enjoyed the cozy bedrooms and living room, and the hottub and outdoor fire, both days. We also cooked and enjoyed the dining area for good family time. Host was easy to communicate with before and after. We recommend staying here if you ever have the opportunity!

Homey and well appointed

This property has everything you could need, it is beautiful stocked. The property was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The only challenges are the road noise is loud in the 2 front bedrooms and the water pressure isn’t great. However, overall it was an ideal stay.

Very cute cottage which was very clean. Love all the decorations! The kitchen was well stocked with treats, drinks, and everything you would need. There were toys for the kids, board games to play, and robes to wear out to the hot tub. They thought of everything!

Excellent and Fun Visit

Three friends gathered for a “guys weekend” in Lexington. Buffalo Bend was a great place to stay as a base for hiking, paddling, and seeing Lexington and Natural Bridge. Love the outdoor covered patio area, hot tub, fire pits, and grills. Note you are right next to the highway, but the cars lessen by bedtime. Also only the one bathroom, but it was enough. I’d certainly stay again.

Fabulous Girls Weekend

We loved this little house. It was beautifully decorated and all the little things had been thought about and were provided by our host. The house was extremely comfy and we wished we could have stayed an additional night. We were the first to have access to their hot tub and that was amazing as well! We highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area!

Immaculate and Special Charm

The owners went out of their way in thoughtfulness with amenities for their guests' pleasure! The decor is especially charming and interesting and colors very refreshing and cheery, furniture very comfortable, all a delightful experience! Just an overnight

We only had time for a quick overnight stay so didn’t get to enjoy anything local. We stopped strictly for the house on the way home from our vacation. We really enjoyed being able to cook out and relax in the hot tub. All of the extras provided by the host are very thoughtful. Cute little place, we will definitely stay again if we’re in town!

Celebrating Christmas

We found this place to meet our son between Georgia and Maryland. This place was so comfortable. The owner even decorated for us to enjoy. Definitely a place we would use again as a meeting destination!! Thanks so much for all the details in making it feel like home.

Wonderful Family Stay!

My fiance and our 3 girls stayed here for five nights while we explored the Natural Bridge and Lexington area. Buffalo Bend was perfect for our needs, and the host was very accommodating. Everything was clean, and we took advantage of the provided snacks and family games. The location was very convenient and felt like home. We will definitely stay again if we return to the area! Side note - the place was very well decorated, and I felt I always noticed something new. The host took a lot of time making the place feel like home, and I appreciated all of the details :)

Well lit up and easy to spot driving in at night. This is just an extra thoughtful feature. This place is spotless and so peaceful. We were staying here because we had a wedding to attend. We highly recommend it. Conversations with our host were very pleasant. Not a single disappointment here. We wished we had more days to stay. The beds were SO comfortable.

This is a lovely home with many personal welcoming touches to make guests feel comfortable. From decorations to kitchen and bathroom accommodations, the owner has been thoughtful and put time and effort into this BnB. The kitchen was well stocked as well as the bathroom. The location was good being between the town of Lexington and Natural Bridge, and easy access to many locations to visit in the area. The only down side was being right off a busy road.

Perfect Getaway

This is a great home in a great location! Tasha is a wonderful host and the home was the cleanest I have ever seen. Tasha was very welcoming and helpful, returning messages quickly. I even had a car issue, and her suggestion for a mechanic was perfect. We had six adults and stayed for a week and we were very comfortable the entire time. The location is great and there are many great restaurants and attractions to keep anyone busy. Our experience staying at this home and with Tasha could not have been any better and made our vacation a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the Lexington area. You will not be disappointed with the home or with Tasha's great attention to detail.

This place is a gem!!

Do not be misled buy the obviously still a work in progress exterior. The hot tub was pristinely clean. I loved the gazebo style covering in the hot tub area (fire pit, small tables, chairs, great lighting) . The only thing I would add is a privacy screen on the side that faces the street. Please for give my error if you had one there and i did not see it. On the inside....NOT A SINGLE COMPLAINT!!!! Pristinely clean, left snacks and a bottle of wine for us. AC worked great, beds very comfortable. Fridge pristinely clean. I love thw way it was decorated...gave me some ideas for my place.The area is really quiet (YAY!) and very close to alot of attractions. One peice of advice...Back into the drive way so if you leave while dark you can see all traffic coming around the curve. I plan on renting here again !!!

Nice place, but a bit noisy due to road traffic

The place is really nice with a Jacuzzi, large covered patio, comfortable beds with fans! However, I had trouble finding and accessing messages from the owner that she sent through VRBO. All previous hosts had communicated directly with me via text or emails (which is simple and reliable). I called VRBO service when I got no text or emails from this owner, and they sent me a text stating how to get into the house, but no more info. Via text, she told me that the detailed info for guests was in PDF form in my VRBO messages, which I had difficulty finding and then accessing. I requested she simply email it to me which she did not do. I eventually found & got the PDF doc but it was quite frustrating. I still wonder why she wouldn't email the doc to me. Another issue was that it is located right along a 2 lane highway so that passing vehicles were rather loud when in either of the 2 front bedrooms.
