「The check in was fast and friendly, the room is lovely, with a nice view. There was quite a lot of noise from the street below early in the morning and the church bells were regular throughout the night. The breakfast was a good amount but lukewarm spolt the vibe. 「The property is an 18th century coach house so don’t expect brand new anything, that being said the place is full of character, but the most important part of this inn are the excellent staff, mostly Maureen (Mo) and Gracie. They were superbly professional yet warm and welcoming and made our 2 day stay a pleasure. The food was excellent (well done Becca) with a great choice. The room was spotless and clean as was the bathroom, would definitely go back and probably will. Well done all.」

「We stayed in The Chapel - it was breathtaking! Incredibly high standard of finishes, decor and furnishings. Modern and luxurious within the historic frame of the building and it's facinating history. Staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. We'd have no hesitation staying again and highly recommend The Cookie Jar if you're looking for a memorable overnight accommodation experience anywhere near Alnwick.」

「Bertrams is a lovely place to stay in Warkworth. The rooms are very comfortable with everything you need. The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
