「The staff was incredibly helpful, courteous and friendly. The rooms and restaurant and surroundings very good.
The pool, however, was very chilly. Since this hotel is considered a resort, spending time in the pool is part of the enjoyment. You definitely had to keep moving when in the pool to keep warm. 」

「Julie at the front desk was very friendly and personable when I checked in. I have to agree with her, the sunset from just across the street from the hotel is spectacular. There is possibly nothing better in the world than an English ocean-front sunset on a clear day. The hotel itself is very clean and charming and aesthetically pleasing. 「Breakfast has been scaled down in selection, quality & service and seemed disorganised.
Also, as a vegan, there is very little available on the buffet table though I acknowledge they offer a cooked vegan breakfast which is good if you want hot.
The granola which I like had run out & I couldn't find a member of staff free to inform them so went without.
It would be a thoughtful touch if biscuits in the room were dairy & egg free just to cater fr a wider clientele. 」
