「This was a wonderful facility. The rooms have been beautifully restored, they are a nice size and beautiful. The highlight of the trip here was the friendly, efficient and helpful service staff. The staff went above and beyond again and again to make our experience here wonderful.」

「Lovely location, next to the square and 7 minutes from the ferry terminal. Useful bar/cafe downstairs.」

「My rooftop guestroom can access via escalator and it has a balcony with lake view. Walkable distance from the pier. 」

「We booked a room for 2, but an extra twin bed was already there, so we are given a room for 3. The room is classic, clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning (but only Reception can adjust the temperature ) The wooden floor squeaks when stepped on . During our stay the elevator was out of order for a few hours, but quickly fixed. Breakfast is decent. Overall very one here is very nice .」

「We chose to spend a night here for our honeymoon. The hotel provides a very convenient—and free—shuttle service, which is incredibly thoughtful given that Varenna is a town nestled on a hillside. They can pick you up and drop off anytime from either the train station or the ferry pier ! The location is also perfect—right across from the church and just a short walk to the romantic lakeside path. Upon arrival, the staff greeted us with warm hospitality and pleasantly surprised us with a room...
