Teocalli Creekside

Family of 5 stayed for a week in December to ski. 5 min walk to main street (restaurants etc.) and shuttle stop. Would stay there again, and also in the summer.

Amazing stay!

This was such a nice rental. The location is perfect, both next to the river and within walking distance of the town and at least one park. It was very clean, had comfortable beds and was well appointed. The set-up could work for a few adult couples or a family with kids like us. This is probably the nicest rental we have ever had, I would definitely recommend for sure!

Incredible views, newly updated, hot tub stopped working and they were out within an hour to fix on a Sunday. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Look no further

For the last two decades I have rented properties in various Colorado mountain towns and in that time I have seen it all. Never have a enjoyed a property more then this one. The owner bio mentioned them spending the last ten years working to perfect a vacation rental and I honestly believe that to be the case after staying in this beautiful home. No detail has been left behind. The house is spotless in everyway and I can be very critical in this regard. If I were to buy this home I would literally just move my clothes in and bring groceries and call it good. The furnishings are warm and comfortable and so very tastefully done. The kitchen is awesome and stocked with a wide array of condiments and seasonings that I usually just do with out so as not to have to buy them while on vacation for a short period of use. The laundry room has everything you need to maintain your wardrobe and every bathroom is appointed with very nice soaps, shampoo, conditioners, and lotions not to mention adequate storage for toothbrushes, etc. I also consider the location to be ideal. You are two blocks from trails for running, hiking, and biking and two blocks off of Elk street where all the action is yet the house backs up to a creek on a cul-de-sac and is immensely quite and peaceful. Once I arrived at the home there was no further need to drive which was a huge bonus. I would love to keep this property a secret but I want the owners to know that they have exceeded my critical standards in everyway! Thank You!

Location, Location, Location!

My first priority in booking a vacation home is location and this place is absolutely perfect if you want to be close to town but have the feeling of being out of town, if that makes any sense! The house is less than a five minute walk from the main drag in CB but it backs up to a beautiful little creek that provides wonderful water sounds and views of the mountains. The several decks provide opportunities to enjoy both and there is a fabulous grill on the second floor deck off the spectacular kitchen and comfortable den. We grilled steaks and cooked one night and enjoyed having absolutely everything we needed available and easy to locate. We had gone to City Market in Gunnison to shop for food when we landed and it's a very well-stocked store unless you are looking for local game. Never occurred to me they wouldn't have elk! Steaks were great though. The house itself is extremely well maintained and the decor is updated, quality, and very tasteful. There are two Master suites - one on the first floor with a large office/den space and a huge bathroom and closet, and one on the third floor almost as big! There is one other bedroom on the third floor that is smaller but not uncomfortably so. Lots of DirecTV channels on flat screen TVs in the den and Masters. Bathtub in the bath on the third floor - shower pressure excellent and plenty of hot water. We enjoyed staying here and will hopefully be back. We have already recommended it to friends and family. We just got back, so we were there in he summer and enjoyed riding the ski lifts on the mountain and white water rafting with Three River Outfitters. All the restaurants are awesome. My favorite breakfast was Paradise Cafe but you can't go wrong with any of them. Very charming town, lots of outdoor activities, and calming atmosphere if you just wNt to hang out. Great vacation, great vacation home!!

Perfect location to enjoy Crested Butte

Everything was as described, we enjoyed staying for a few days and getting to know the area. The first night was rather hot, despite leaving the windows open and using fans. I don't think there are many options around with A/C, but if we keep getting hotter summers, it will become an increasing discomfort. House was well appointed, great kitchen. Appreciate the Sonos system and having a garage space we could use.

House with no outdoor furniture.

The house was great. Well furnished with everything needed in the kitchen. The location was great, right on Coal Creek with a great view of Mt. Crested Butte. As a matter of fact we had a great view of the 4th of July fireworks from the house deck. The bikes were a nice touch. My only complaint is that the house had know outdoor furniture. No chairs, no table no nothing. When I visit CB in the summer I want to be outdoors as much as I can and enjoy the great mountain air. I understand that the decks were super small but there was a nice patch of lawn where a picnic table would work. I will not rent this house again during the summer. Great house when the weather is too cold to sit outside.

Perfect house in CB

The house had everything you could want (hot tub, steam shower, located next to the bubbling creek, great views of Mt. Crested Butte right from the living room, comfortable beds, spa robes in every room and slippers for the hot tub). The owners definitely thought of everything! We could not have asked for a better home to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family. The house is located just a couple of blocks from Elk Ave (main street) where we walked to the shops and had dinner. What a great place to make lasting memories!

Great amenities and very clean

What a great house. The bedding was so comfy. Great location with bikes so we could ride into town. We enjoyed listening to the creek. This house had it all.

Perfect Ski Vacation Home.

Teocalli Creekside was a perfect holiday/ski vacation home for our family of four. It is an exceptionally well built home with a gourmet kitchen, incredible views, and thoughtful amenities (hot tub & master steam shower) that made this home unique and very comfortable. Being there at Christmas time was magical. We especially liked being on the other side of town, tucked away on a quiet street, but still close enough to access Elk Street by foot and easily walk to the closest shuttle stop. The Iron Horse Property Management team was excellent in answering our questions and responding to our needs. We would definitely go back!

Beautiful property in every way.

This property is amazing. The owners did a phenomenal job on the remodel. We stayed in this home nine years ago and were so pleased with the accommodations more so this time. They supply robes & slippers for hot tub, along with many other nice things. The master bathroom is wonderful. It has a double shower and steam abilities. Home has sonos sound system. The views make the home though. There is something to see from just about every window. Will never stay anywhere else in CB.

Wonderful holiday getaway

When I knew my family planned to meet in Crested Butte for Thanksgiving, I immediately looked to book this wonderful property. I had stayed there in years past, and this year's experience was equal to the last time. The management company, Iron Horse, worked with us for early check in and allowed us to stay on site a little past check out time to catch our ride back to Gunnison. The property was clean and had wonderful amenities. The view out the windows is spectacular, and the fact that it sits at the end of the street right next to a creek allows those spectacular views. I highly recommend 311 Teocalli.
