Lovely quiet location, no traffic noise while enjoying the hot tub.

Lovely quiet location, no traffic noise while enjoying the hot tub. Short drives to beach or walks. Stone floors so no worries about dogs coming in with wet feet and secure garden. WiFi not brilliant not guaranteed to get tv when you want it. Very comfortable. Good views. Recommend the wood fired sauna with sea views at criccieth.

Double Dutch

Secluded location north of Criccieth, set in a small group of old cottages the Dutch Barns didn’t disappoint. Great views across the south of the Lleyn peninsula. Perfect base to enjoy North Wales or relax in the hot tub overlooking rolling hills.

We had a lovely long-weekend at the Dutch Barns One to celebrate a birthday.

We had a lovely long-weekend at the Dutch Barns One to celebrate a birthday. Facilities at the barn are very good with comfy beds, great shower/bathroom/decent kitchen etc. We had to stock up on dishwasher tablets and the salt dispenser was dry; however these are first-world problems. We loved the hot-tub (& a view to die for) and a lovely safe slate-garden for the dogs to chill in. Biggest issue was sporadic wifi and therefore use of the TV (apps) of an evening. Though I guess if you want to be away from things, this is potentially an asset! Although it is remote, it's not far from the main A road that cuts N-S from Caernarfon to Porthmadog so a great location. We were there early-March so pre-season; therefore quite a lot of the local amenities were shut - but that's to be expected. Fortunately Cadwaladers in Cricceth was still open for the most amazing ice-cream sundaes, as was the fish & chip shop (to be enjoyed for sure) and, of course, its amazing beach - 24/7 if you so fancy ;)
