「A very laid back enjoyable experience. A perfect base for visiting Ludlow and Shrewsbury to see the wonderful timbered buildings there. Both offered lovely meals in an ancient setting with welcoming hosts. Also a good place to visit a place close to my heart. Carding Mill Valley a National Trust owned and well looked after location with stunning views and wonderful walks.」

「Lovely property tucked away in a rhral location.Only issue was the single track access roads with passing places which we are not used to.The host Lucy and her partner were welcoming and had plenty of advice on the local area.The surrounding area was also lovely with plenty to see and do.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend without hesitation.」

「This lodge is just lovely. It is located on a small sheep farm which was a great bonus. The sheep are on the fields like 6 feet from your door and they had just had babies! There are pheasants too. The lodge is well equipped and the beds comfy. The heating is really good; had to turn it down at times. The views are outstanding and on a clear night you can see so many stars. 「We had a lovely couple of days in the Megapod! Friendly and helpful staff, hot tub and BBQ and just chilling out. Hot tub went wonky on second day but the staff persevered and got it sorted in time for a nice hot soak! Overall, great staff, locals, food and accommodation hence 5 stars!」
