“Everyone appreciated the tranquility of the forest and most comfortable beds and blankets. The cabin was well decorated and very clean. Chance responded immediately whenever I reached out with questions. I think that the listing could have mentioned that the main bedrooms are all upstairs and that a high clearance vehicle is needed. We all had a great time and enjoyed nearby hiking trails and exploring Prescott antique stores and restaurants!”

“This home was wonderful. My grandsons (2,4, 6) loved watching the deer and turkeys come visit in the morning. The outdoor games were great to keep them occupied. The hot tub was maintained well. Some thing everyone talks about…the road. It’s maintained by the Forest Service, they don’t have money, so this isn’t going to change. It’s wash boarded. It’s bumpy. BUT Auntie Katie was able to get her Buick up there. It’s possible. You just have to go slow. My daughter laughed and said it’s bad……

“The General Store is a great place to enjoy the cool pines. If you are a hiker the location is excellent for getting out and enjoying the trails. It is 1.5 miles to Goldwater Lake and there are plenty of options for hikes from the front door. The yard is perfect for the dogs and the back porch is a great place to relax.
