"Safe, quiet inside the hotel but you can hear cars honking nights and morning. Convenient, some dining options. Good point to start and end your day. Room was clean but lighting was low in the bathroom."

"We really loved our stay at Barcelo. We had booked the premium accommodation and were really appreciative of the perks, such as snacks, buffet, welcome drinks and even one item laundered for free. The staff were pleasant and the food spread was great. The property is walking distance from Zocalo and one of our hop on and hop off bus stops was also a few hundred feet away only. We had a bit of an incident on one of the days when we took a cab from the vendor outside the hotel who lost his way...

"Wonderful historic hotel that was maintained and clean. Breakfast buffet was great and varied each day we were there. Our room had a musty smell when the A/C wasn’t on but those traveling with us didn’t seem to have any issues in their rooms. "

"It is a gorgeous hotel and a great location if you want to be in the heart of the Historic District. The property, rooms and restuarent are all stunning. I had a small issue with the AC in my room and the hotel responded promptly. I travel allot and understand that sometimes things go wrong or break. Its the way the hotel responds that matters to me. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it"
