「I was in town primarily to attend a class, then my daughter joined me for a couple of days at the end of my 7-day visit. I was under the impression that this was a stand-along guest house on the property of the main house. It's actually attached to the main house, which was perfectly fine. Very private, nestled in the woods of a small, quiet neighborhood less than a mile from downtown Highlands. There were some issues with the cleanliness of the awesome screened porch and other minor details in...

「Really great cottage purrrfect for us and our puppy. Mrs. Kathryn went out of her way to make our stay great. Would definitely stay again.」

「Had a last minute opportunity to visit my daughter and looked at VRBO since I've always had great luck with them. Got to the property and found out that my room was 1/4 price per night. I paid VRBO more than 4 times what the hotel price was per night. Property was just barely OK. Pool was closed. Breakfast made my daughter violently ill which put a damper on the weekend. Feel stupid and taken advantage of...and yes, I am part of that responsibility so that is why I am writing this review...buyer...

「We had a small window of opportunity for a trip to Highlands, NC. I found The Zen Den on VRBO and the description met what we needed. The owner gave perfect directions on how to get to our location (the gps would have never got us there) and had turned the heat on before our arrival. The place was very clean and comfortable. The cooking situation was very limited but for our short stay it was fine. For two people and a short stay the Zen Den was perfect!」

「The property was beautiful and the hosts were very helpful! It was the perfect spot for a getaway with friends! The location was perfect as it was a short drive from town and right on a gorgeous lake, where we had access to canoes and kayaks. We went on a few gorgeous hikes around the area (Whiteside Mountain, High Falls, and Rainbow Fallls at Gorges National Park). I highly recommend staying here, and I can’t wait to book my next trip!」

「We recently stayed in the suite at Mirror Lake in Highlands, NC, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. The suite is located in the peaceful and quiet Mirror Lake area, just a short walk from the town of Highlands. The suite was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a comfortable bed, plush towels, and a fully equipped kitchenette.」

「Loved the vibe, comfort and coziness of Holly’s apt. The place looks recently renovated and was well provisioned. It was very quiet and peaceful.. Only had 2 days, but would have liked to stay longer.」

「Friendly staff, great location, and great value for a getaway to Asheville」

「So, I booked our room back in September, October of 2021. Between then and when our trip was, the property changed owners. Apparently, there was a bit of a mixup with the booking and the whole lodge was booked for a reunion. We get there to check in, and not only do they still accommodate us, despite the mixup, they gave us an upgrade for no extra charge. We were staying for our anniversary and were absolutely thrilled with everything. We will definitely visit again in the future.」

「My husband and I spent our 29th wedding anniversary at panther cabins. We had the best time. The cabin was perfect for us and romantic. The communication with management was wonder. Before perps when we we’re coming and the follow up after. Infact so much to do in the area. We want to bring the whole family when we do a vacation. That’s how much we enjoyed it. 」

「This is a wonderful choice. Close enough to I 40 but secluded. Even though we arrived late due to work, Denise came out to say hello and give us a quick tour. It was just cool enough that after a quick hot tub soak, we used the wood stove to get cozy. We would go again and it was perfect for the 1 night reprieve that we planned.」

「This place didn’t disappoint we had a great stay. Convenience to golf and casino. Would recommend to a family or a group of friends plenty of room for ten to congregate together for great memories!!」
