"This small cabin on Lake Gardner is just as advertised - a cozy cabin. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. The bedroom is small but we slept the best we have for our whole trip. It’s nothing fancy, but a great base camp to explore this area of Maine. I would recommend."

"Staying on the bay in Maine at this charming VRBO provided a peaceful and rejuvenating escape. It was perfect for watching the sun rise over the horizon and enjoying that stillness of the morning, with the soft glow of light reflecting off the water. The sky full of pastels, warm oranges and pink, the sound of waves, all in a picturesque backyard garden. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cookware to create our own meals from the local seafood markets. The bed was comfortable and the location was perfect. We will be back! "

"This was our 5th stay at Bear Beach. We usually like to move around and try new places, but there simply is no place like it. It is a beautiful tradition we vow to repeat each year from our beach chairs. Maine at its wildest and most serene, with absolute privacy, epic days and glorious sunsets. We love to swim at high tide, dig for clams and clay at low tide and then rinse in the warm outdoor shower and relax in the sauna. Thank you Sue for sharing this with us!"
