Vivienze at check in was very friendly. She informed us that the hotel offered complimentary tea time between 2-4pm everyday in lounge area and encouraged us to help ourselves during check in. The bellhop however, made it very uncomfortable. Da Nang was raining heavily when we arrived and he did not come out to assist us with luggage. He kept coming up to mom during tea time and asking her how she’s enjoying the tea. When we received our room he brought our luggage up and kept lingering. It was very uncomfortable in our room. I think he realized he was not getting a tip from us and closed the door on us in the middle of us asking him a question.
The hotel is in a wonderful area. Literally 1 minute walk to the beach. There are several dining options in the area. I would not suggest the restaurant in the hotel for lunch or dinner. It is very expensive, not good, and small portions.
Breakfast was included with the room we booked. Breakfast was decent, with lots of options. It was a bit chaotic at breakfast as there were a lot of guests. It felt kinda like a market! Staff need to clear tables quicker as well.
We booked treatment at the spa. The package I purchased advertised that it came with a gift box that included shampoo and soap, which the spa staff reiterated. When I received my gift it was the snacks that were given out during tea time. I asked about this and they said that’s what is available now. Just misleading.
