Weekend Getaway

Traveled for my daughter’s dance competition and a friend from her old team joined us for the weekend. We cleaned up after ourselves as best we could with the limited cleaning supplies and the yard was overdue for maintenance. Overall we had the space needed and we would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a convenient location for us, less than 20 min drive to our son's place in Crandall and close to a lot of shopping as well. The check in process was so easy and we were able to get early check in to support our schedule. The amenities were great with only a few hiccups. The home is updated, but the bones are old with all its charm and also settling of the foundation. The home was spotlessly clean, plenty of towels. The beds, especially the 2nd bedroom, were very firm - like a memory foam. The home is on a busy street, so early in the AM you'll hear morning traffic and some loud cars going by as they accelerate from the intersection. Also you can hear the train. Both of these you will get used to. The (privacy) fenced back yard is charming with string lights and a fire pit, surrounded by 4 Adirondack chairs. The appliances all work well, and the unit is stocked with bath and kitchen consumables (soap, shampoo, detergent, etc.) 3 TVs set up with ROKU, you can set up your streaming service.

Adorable Home and Property but loud driving noises ruin it :(

The house is the perfect size, perfectly decorated and had great amenities, however the location of it on a very busy street causes you to hear every car, truck, motorcycle that revs up exactly in front of the bedroom window. We will probably stay there again, but will remember to pack ear plugs.
