My recent stay at the Magnuson Hotel, was far from satisfactory. From the moment I arrived, I encountered several issues that seriously impacted my stay.
First and foremost, I was quite taken back by the hidden deposit fee of $100.00. It was not clearly communicated during the booking process, and I found it unacceptable to be surprised by an additional charge upon check-in. Transparency is crucial in the hospitality industry, and this felt like a lack of consideration for guests.
Additionally, the lack of cable television was disappointing. In today's age, many travelers expect basic amenities like cable for entertainment, especially after a long day. This absence made my stay feel even more inconvenient.
Moreover, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which I was not made aware of prior to my visit. The noise and disruption from construction work were bothersome and detracted from the overall experience. It would have been nice to have a heads-up about this situation before booking.
To top it all off, the staff I encountered were rude and disrespectful. Customer service is key in the hospitality industry, and I felt that my concerns were met with indifference rather than the support and understanding one would hope for.
Overall, my stay at the Magnuson Hotel was disappointing, and I cannot recommend it based on my experience. I hope management takes these issues seriously and works to improve t
