“The house was unexpectedly nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the cool (unheated) but not cold, jacuzzi pool after a long hot day in Manuel Antonio park. This is a nice place, but they really, really, need to let folks know that this place is very remote and the road is very bad. Great if you want to bring everything and just stay there, but it is a 45 minute drive on bad, unlit roads to come or go from the lodge. We could see several places where the hillside had given way into the road and one……

“My family and I stayed here for 6 nights and had the most amazing time! The property is absolutely gorgeous, peaceful, and just the right amount of isolation in the mountains. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, always checking to make sure you're having a great time. The excursions were fantastic, we highly recommend the white water rafting! “Our group had a 3 night stay in the monkey room. We loved the private outdoor seating area, the large room with a fridge (cold drinks!), and comfortable beds. The staff was so lovely and super helpful. Two of us were not feeling well for some of the time, and they were so accommodating with when we needed our room cleaned, helping us order fresh fruit plates to the room, and checking in on us when we went in and out.
