“Sugar Bear cabin was a great place to stay for nearby activities. We enjoyed the amenities the cabin offered, especially in regards to cooking and kitchen. A really great surprise was the stocked up game room, and various VHS tapes, along with a VCR. “This was a great house for 2 families to stay in (4 adults, 4 kids) for Leland Snowplay. Was 5 minute walk away so we could go tubing, come back for lunch at the house, then go back to tubing. Kids had a great time playing in the yard too. House was clean and description is spot on. The host responded to my questions immediately and was super helpful. The kitchen is adequately stocked for cooking meals for our large group. The downstairs bedrooms were a little cold though - the wall……

“We stayed for a long weekend at this cabin and it more than met our expectations. The location, near Long Barn, was very useful for access to local skiing, and it wasn't difficult to get in or out of (just be aware that the driveway is steep and relatively short in case you have more than one vehicle). It's also close to Mia's, our favorite restaurant in the area.The interior of the cabin is well-furnished and very comfortable. We were actually surprised at how warm it stayed in winter, and……

“We greatly enjoyed the house and close proximity to Bear Valley Ski Resort. We have young kids so we needed a close place in the event we had meltdowns at the slopes and needed to go back early. This was perfect. Lots of space and outdoor areas to explore far enough away from the highway. It's a short hike up to the house but just reframe as a workout and it does the trick. We'll definitely stay here again.”

“The property truly does not have any Wi-Fi or cell service. That was not a dealbreaker for me, but for entertainment, you are limited to the DVD collection that the owner has which is very large. The loft was huge and it served as a nice place for my son to play his video games. There is a beautiful view of the lake. It was very close to the snow and very cozy. Everything was clean. What I liked the most about the owner is that the place is stocked with firewood, and there was even firestarter……
