COMFORTABLE COUNTRY CHALET, NEAR DARTMOUTH, DEVON
Property description. -- All the furniture and furnishings are of good quality to make for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Both bedrooms have wall mounted electric panel heaters. Lounge has electric stove and surround plus portable heater. Good quality comfortable beds. Bedroom 1 has a double and Bedroom 2 has 2 singles. Settee is comfortable and long enough to sleep 1 extra adult. Quiet and convenient site, you have the freedom to come and go as you please, and the chalet provides a great base to explore the many attractions that South Devon has to offer. A short drive to the wonderful Woodlands Family fun park and close to beaches. The bus stops outside the gates and from here you can travel to Totnes, Dartmouth and beyond! Also close to Park & Ride for convenient access to Dartmouth with no parking worries. There is a Sainsbury and Aldi just 2 minutes drive away and yet you are set in a lovely quiet area with views of rolling Devonshire countryside.

Beautiful chalet on the inside
The chalet had everything we needed and the host was very welcoming and helpful. The only very minor downside was the look of the property from the outside. I could not tell, when I made the booking, that the chalet was in a terrace of other chalets. However, inside, it was very comfortable. The proximity to Dartmouth was great as well.

Super bedankt
Het huisje was keurig. Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. We voelden ons zeer welkom.
Het huisje was keurig schoon. Keuken was goed uitgerust. Badkamer schoon. Slaapkamers waren prima.
De locatie zag er wat verlaten uit maar is heel dichtbij Dartmouthmet alle winkels en toeristische zaken die het gebied te bieden heeft. Strand is dichtbij en een rit met de stoomtrein zeer de moeite waard.
De wegen in Devon zijn vaak smal en omringd met hoge heggen wat het links rijden wel inspannend maakt maar dat weet je in Engeland.

Our stay
Very happy with our chalet the only problem we had was connecting to the internet but that was soon sorted via messaging our host. Possibly it might have been nice for a little tray of teabags coffee n long life milk to have been supplied for a cuppa after our long journey but other than that all good.

Great for a short break.
Well equipped kitchen, unfortunately the oven trays were still very greasy from previous people.
Overall we had a great time, site was clean and very quiet.

Lovely chalet, quiet location
We had a lovely week away here. Well equipped and comfortable. Makes a great base to go off and see South Devon. Very quiet and peaceful, but great access to a couple of supermarkets which can be an issue when away and the park and ride for Dartmouth is just up the road and Makes great value. Nice outdoor pool locally if pool is a requirement.

The property was just as advertised, with everything you could need including entertaiment, both visual & books.
Everthing was clean, beds were comfy, it was decorated beautifully which gave it a nice homely feel.

Good short stay for family
Clean, cosy challet, nicely decorated. Comfy beds and sofa. Kitchen with all you need, good shower.
Location is good if you have a car.
Lot of nice places to visit around.
Some playground would be nice for kids.

Fast alles gut
Die Wohnung entsprach der Beschreibung. Es war alles sauber , außer das mal die Dusche und Umgebung ( d. h.
die Dichtungen und neben der Dusche )
erneuert und sauber gehalten werden könnten. Außerdem hat man keine schöne Aussicht.

June break
We had a lovely few days at the chalet. Compact but well formed, plenty big enough for a family of 5. Great spot close to Dartmouth Park and Ride, and a couple of supermarkets. Veronica was very helpful and responded to queries very fast. All in all great stay.

Fabulous holiday chalet
This chalet definitely has the WOW factor, spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped with quality items, lovely seaside feel. The area is beautiful with plenty to see and do, in all weather conditions. Veronica gave us lots of local information which was so helpful. It was our Golden Wedding Anniversary and Veronica very kindly left us a vase of red roses, what a delightful touch. We’ve been in lots of holiday chalets over the years and this one was the best. Strongly recommend.

Absolutely lovely!
It was a really lovely experience! We really felt like the owner had gone out of her way to make sure that any guests were comfortable! My father uses a wheelchair most of the time and it was very accessible for him! It was such a lovely, quiet getaway for 5 people and we were all quite comfortable. The supermarkets really are super close by and the scenery is just beautiful. Would definetly recommend!

Schöne Wohnung für kleines Geld
Prima eingerichtet und sauber. Einzig die Aussicht lässt ein wenig zu wünschen übrig (Blick auf andere Häuschen) 🤓. Würden wir trotzdem immer wieder buchen.
