“The room was relatively clean. I noticed some flood damage in the bathroom. Our stay in the area revolved around visiting family and having a place to rest at night. We have stayed at a different Tennessee Americourt in Mountain City . They are similar. Essentially it is an adequate place to stay . Parking is no problem. Other patrons tended to smoke near the entrances causing a smoke smell to draw into the building. Pets are allowed, we don’t bring pets but fortunately the pets were quiet but……

“The floor in the broom was extremely dirty. He needed at least three mops to get it clean. They were cockroaches coming from the backboard of the bed on the walls on the kitchen stove and on the microwave. Unless you are extremely tight on a budget, I would not recommend this hotel.”

“I stad there before and they let me have my dog. And I made a reservation and and l got there he told me l couldn't have my dog as you can one day but not the answer. ”

“The floor was so sticky. There were cigarette burns in all of the sheets. No towels were provided. Hardly any toilet paper. You had to turn the sink off and on from the shut off valve under the sink. Half of the curtain was nailed to the wall. Air conditioner heater only blew air and did not change temperature whatsoever. When I mentioned to the front desk above the heater in the morning, he said oh well you could’ve come and asked me for a space heater. Also, he tried charging me $55 and I had……

“I love DoubleTree. They typically have coffee available and wonderful chocolate chip cookies, plus they provide bottles of water. I like that they provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. The staff is always helpful. ”

“I was really disappointed, as I’ve stayed at this location before and for the price it was great. The hotel now has long term guests/residents (???), who apparently believe they own the place. Very loud at all hours, talking loudly, yelling down the hallway, slamming doors, dogs barking repeatedly. All until well after 1am on a work night. The hotel Is run-down but clean. Location was easy to get in/out. But even with sleeping pills, I was woken up several times per night. The long term renters……

“The staff was friendly and professional. The suite was clean and a great size for four people to stay for a night. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was perfect.”

“Breakfast was robust (eggs/sausage/ham/waffles/cereal) but the same every day of our stay. Would have been nice to mix it up a bit. Rooms were fine, but 3 things were a problem for us. Some of this I should have checked on: 1) we had our handicapped son with it. The hotel only had double beds for sleeping 3, which are too small for a couple 2) no tub; only a shower. That's a problem when bathing my handicapped son 3) stupid sliding door on the bathroom. My son caught his fingers in the……
