Spring, summer, and fall enjoy affordable lodging in the center of Canaan Valley. It is a short trip to the splendor of Blackwater Falls and the scenic golf course at Canaan Valley Resort.

Great location but dated

The location is great and is what you are paying for. We arrived late and picked up our keys from the office which was a couple miles away. The check in instructions were not very clear but we figured it out. The lodging is dated and reminded me of the late 80s/early 90s. There isn’t a dumpster so we consolidated our trash bags on the back porch until we left. It’s clean, the beds are very firm but if you plan on skiiing than it’s just a place to eat and sleep and meets that expectation.
