Ski off the back deck onto Timberline's Salamander Trail and explore all 100 acres of skiable terrain. Ski back to your cozy cabin and spend the evening enjoying the rest of this rental’s amenities such as sipping a perfectly chilled glass of wine from the dual zone wine fridge, soaking in the slope side hot tub, snuggling up in front of the double-sided gas fireplace, earning bragging rights in the game room equipped with a cocktail arcade table boasting over 3600 video games, foosball table and Ms. Pac Mac upright arcade game, or on the shuffleboard table and Star Wars pinball machine in the downstairs recreation room while watching movies. Daisy's Den is a true four season paradise as hikers will love the walkable convenience to Dolly Sods, while autumn leaf peepers will be mesmerized by the colorful foliage. Mountain bikers and kayakers will love the convenience of having a garage for storing equipment and gear. Adventure and relaxation seekers alike will be fulfilled. We were worried with snow, but our 21 Tahoe Z71 4x4 with off road tires had no trouble. House was perfect for our boys who loved snowboarding and skiing. The bunk beds were a little uncomfortable for our older teens but they still loved the trip. Would definitely stay again. Kitchen was well equiped for Christmas cooking. Hot tub was wonderful.

Great location for hiking up Salamander and across to Dolly Sods and overlooks of Valley. Artoberfest was fun and right down the hill! Lovely home with everything you need.

Daisy's Den Family Reunion

Property very kid friendly and location provided easy access to Dolly Sods for the more dedicated hikers as well as easy access to Canaan Valley Resort for shorter hikes and occasional meals. Kitchen well equipped and laundry kept everyone in clean clothes over the 2 weeks.

Loved Daisy’s Den and its slope side conveniences !! House comfortably fits 2 couples and 4 kids. We loved the ski and boot room that kept our gear warm and dry for the next outing and we used the hot tub which was clean and ready to use! The house was exactly as described and we felt right at home.

Best access to Dolly Sods trails

The home provided all necessary amenities and then some. Host responds very quickly and had answers to all my questions. My daughter saw a black bear out the living room window the first day we were there. It is pet friendly but very clean. It stirred up my allergies a bit but nothing major. Plenty of games and things to do inside on a rainy day. Tons of options on the television. It’s more private than some of the comparable properties in the area. The lots on each side are wooded so you don’t see the neighbors. The hot tub was very clean and has a nice view of the woods and the night sky. There was also a baby fawn in the woods beside the driveway when we arrived the first day. The Dolly sods trail entrance is just up the hill from the cabin so that was the best asset for us. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fun and relaxing

We stayed a week and family came for the weekend. Everyone loved the cabin. It's clean and comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need. The arcade games were fun and the internet worked well. Went hiking all around the area and discovered that we could hike up the slope from Daisy's Den to a trail leading into Dolly Sods Wilderness!

This home is the perfect ski in/ski out location. We loved playing the arcade games during down time, and the kitchen was perfect for preparing family meals before heading out for a run.

Slopeside location was fantastic for 3-night trip to Timberline. Skiing was solid, crowds manageable (even on holiday weekend) and hot tub and gas fire provided primo apres ski entertainment. House was clean and well appointed. Would definitey stay again!

Great pet and family friendly Canaan Valley getaway location!

Smooth check in, property exactly as described in listing and most importantly beautiful location slopeside at Timberline. For us as fall visitors this meant walking right out the back door for dog walks up the mountain! Kids loved foosball table and video games, adults loved hot tub and well-stocked kitchen.

We enjoyed our stay at Daisy's Den. The game room was great for the kids. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was great. The deck furniture wasn't comfortable and could be improved. Game room would be better on lower level.

Beautiful house and location!

My family, which includes our beloved dog, had the best time. It felt like being in a tree house with all the perks! View of the trees and wild life from every window. Awesome arcade game room, hot tub and cozy fireplace. Great internet connection and lots to do close by. Highly recommend horseback riding down the road. Would definitely go back!

Daisy’s Den

Great house. Had fun with my 3 sisters. Complaints- 1 you have to drive to the rental agent to pick up the key that is just a code to open the doors. This code could easily been sent in a email or text. 2 there was a mouse in the wall or ceiling in the kid room that made lots of noise at night. We told the rental agent and they said they would take care of it. Other then these two, the place was nice and clean.

Ski in ski out was awesome. Very nice home/rental for a family with all ages. Definitely would recommend and stay again. Only complaint is the master bedroom stayed 61 degrees with the heat on 70. Plus did not receive check in/check out email. Even checked spam/junk mail. Had to call the host. However, you’ll be very pleased with Daisy Den.

Family Ski Trip With The Grandkids

We had a great time. The property is excellent. The kitchen is very well stocked. Being next to the ski trails is perfect. Being able to walk up to the trail and "click in" and ski down to the lifts was perfect!
