First of all, it should be listed as a MOTEL!!!!!!
We booked the room through Expedia, where it is listed as a 4 star hotel (that's a shame for Expedia for misleading us). First room they gave us, it smelled REALLY bad and the bed was shabby. You could tell that the bad was not even made after the previous stay. I went to the reception and they upgraded us to one of their "Best rooms", next to the pool. The room still had a moldy smell but at least the bed was "clean". One of the air conditioners had a huge hole near the wall so we had to put lots of paper towel to cover it. The bathroom door had a poorly covered hole that you could tell it was from a punch. After the sunset, outside it was pitch black so I went to the reception desk to ask them to turn the lights on. To my surprise, the office was closed, lights off with the "no vacancy" sign on. But I could tell that no more that 5 rooms were booked in the whole place. I drove to get a pizza to eat it in the room because we were afraid to leave all our stuff in the room and go out to eat. We barricaded ourselves in the room and waited for the night to pass.
