It was very dirty no hot water then wake up to no water. No batteries in smoke thing. They walk n to r room when we has sign on door. N we told them we would come to u. There was smoke in room. Room was not clean. No towels for us. It was very nasty n we would.not stay there again.n we want are money back but they would not give it to us.

Check in was good, try to have shower, no hot water friday night, Saturday morning, same thing. Saturday had no water for the majority of the day! Room air conditioning couldn't adjust temperature settings.

Building is a little run down but clean. No frills stay but cheep. Air conditioning did not work in both rooms booked. Elevator worked when it wanted to. Staff was friendly but not willing to help when we needed more towels. Had to take old towels down to office for them to give new ones. If we stay in Daytona again we will probably stay somewhere else.

This motel needs an overhaul…yes, it sits on the beach, but cracked and dirty drywall, paper taped up at widows to act as light blocker, couldn’t get temp above 65 degrees. My bedspread was so thin and full of dirty residue marks, I took it to the front desk. I also found someone’s ratty tshirt tucked in the mattress and my brother got stuck in their decrepit elevator. The manager Monica brought me a new bedspread but was rather defensive regarding the temp situation. I’m sure this was once a prime place to stay with its location, but unless you don’t care about basic quality of your surroundings, best stay at another property.

room was not in order. door lock was broken took 2 1/2 hours to fix . they would not move us to another room instead we had to stay at room till fixed . staff member seemed to pleasure in our inconvenience . was there to spend afternoon with grand daughter at the beach which we did not get to do , asked for manager but she was not there. was told she had not been there for days.

Property was nice great walk right to the beach. If you are a New Yorker there is no heat. Get the room with an oven. Balcony was beautiful pool was clean. Check in was easy parking accommodating. Property needs upkeep at the back end. There is still a little damage. If you can’t look past this it’s almost perfect.

The hotel was an older place but was quiet and clean. The only thing that I felt could have made it better would be some new bed linens and towels. Other than that the stay was great.

Needs maintenance
First, as we entered the room, the fire alarm was on the floor and without a battery. Second, there is no thermostat. The room was on the hot side. We had to sleep with the balcony sliding door open. Thank God the breeze coming from the ocean was perfect. Finally, the cleaning crew should check the sliding door framing behind the curtains. It was filthy. All is a shame because the room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the view from the balcony was perfect.

The star rating for this property doesn't apply. There is no way this property is any more than half (1/2) a star. The room had a dirty floor as soon as you step in. You could feel the crunching on the tile floor all over the entire room, from the entryway, to the bathroom, and the entire space all the way to the sliding door which leads to the balcony. The floor near the nightstand/table setup looked like it hadn't been swept in several days or weeks. There was a dried up half cockroach on the floor. It makes me wonder where the other half went. The kitchenette area was functional. The ceiling was crumbling away and would drop the popcorn texture on the table that was bolted-on to the nightstand. Our first night there was cold at and there was no thermostat in the room and no visible heat source (Maybe the cooktop on the electric range could've worked, in a pinch). The bathtub/shower combo had very low water pressure and would just sort of drip out during use. After using the shower, the water just kept flowing despite all attempts at stopping the constant flow. No amount of trying to work the water handle would stop the water. Some positions of the handle would slow it down a bit, but it just flowed all night. I wish our 3 night reservation had been wonderful, but it never really improved. The highlight: The Ocean view from the 3rd floor balcony. That was the only positive of the entire experience. It's painfully obvious the place needs lots of work. Please fix this place.

I walked into a room with an old rusty refrigerator, rusty/dirty stove and rusty microwave. The room was in much need of cleaning and paint. So I pull back the sheets and lo and behold, fresh blood. There were roaches. It was the most horrible place I have rented

A/C wouldn't turn down and heat didn't work at all had touse the stovetoheat uptheroom, checked the filter and was completely packed with dust, the sliding door to the back didn't lock only the thin bar was keeping the door closed we were on the ground floor, it's just a Very wore out motel and after being there once before they aren't putting any money into improvement, also the only ice machine was on the 2nd floor in pieces. It's a shame because of the location right on the beach could be great just Not.

Very dirty hotel. Sand in the bet and the whole bed was moist. Very weird. The room stunk of mold. The top and sides of the refrigerator had black gunk all over them. The room had a small kitchenette and all the utensils had sticky dust on them. There is no heating or air conditioning in the room. Instead there is a thermostat with only the fan wires connected. So you can turn a central fan on and off. A little bit ridiculous if you ask me. The room was in dire need of a proper deep cleaning. The bathroom was gross. The phone in the room did not work. We stayed for two nights and there was no housekeeping service like you would expect after the first night. The tv had very limited channels. The ice machine on our floor did not work. There was a bar lock on the sliding glass door to the balcony that was broken. The bottom track of the glass door was full of black sludge. The bath tub was permanently in shower mode which was fune for us but if you wanted to take a bath you wouldnt be able to. The floor was a hard tile floor and very dirty. Walking in it barefoot made our feet black. Over all it was just sort of disgusting. The price was relatively low but ultimately it was way over priced based on the filth and lack of air conditioning/heating. I would not stay here again and i would not reccomend it to a friend.

This is an older hotel, like many in Daytona the exterior needs to be modernized. The property seawall and pool area were damaged by the Hurricanes in 2022 and shows no signs of repair. The pool was open and there were plenty of lounges available to use. We stayed in the King Ocean View. The room was very clean and everything comfortable and the view Amazing. The dressers show wear and could use some updating. The Air Conditioning was on point. If you're looking for an economical stay and are willing to overlook the outdated items, this is the place. The staff was friendly, the Ocean view from the room all you could ask for and as a bonus it had two comfy stuffed chairs in the room for relaxing. Full Kitchen, plenty of counter space and a dining area for 4. I will book again soon.
