"Hotel is in a perfect location in Deadwood. The staff is friendly and attentive. We stay here whenever we can. It is a typical Holiday Inn Express breakfast, which is not good. The poor breakfast does not detract from the hotel. We just eat down the street and have a good meal. Will stay here again when we are in town. "

"I have stayed at this hotel many times and always rebook because I love the location and the convenience of it. The staff has always been wonderful. Once again the front desk was wonderful. The only complaint during the stay I would say was the temperature in the room. It was very hot and uncomfortable and the thermostat wasn’t easy to figure out and I feel like was maybe broken. About 15 min before check out, housekeeping knocked on the door. I told her we weren’t ready yet. Running a few min late, at 11:04 there was another knock and it was the same housekeeper. I opened the door and explained about running late. She was extra rude and just glared at me and moved away from the door. As I was checking out, she did the same rude look and glare. I understand they need to get the rooms clean but we were only out a little after 11! "
