“This hotel has a lot of potential, but my stay was unfortunately disappointing. The toilet didn't flush, the air conditioner was so weak that it did not cool the room, and the bed frame had a metal spike sticking out that actually took a chunk of skin off my leg. What frustrated me most was that the staff already knew about these issues. The front desk explained that they are actively replacing the air conditioners and have already started changing some of the bed frames because of similar……

“Had real bad weather with tornado warnings, and sirens going off and there was no safety plan from staff. Was told we would go to staff laundry room but they did not unlock it and when asked about it we were told not to worry it only gets windy and there’s never a tornado since she lived there. Tv in lobby was on but went off and they never put back on for us to follow weather. Lack of emergency management training. Just so happens tornado hit Merrillville that night, too close for comfort. “Clean. Convenient”

“It's old and pretty run down. Bare bones furnishings in the room. No coffee maker. Soap and shampoo dispensers in shower were empty. They did provide one (1) small bar of soap. Breakfast? Juice dispenser was out of order. No fruit. Dry cereal and mini donuts. For some reason I thought the name Wyndham meant the property would be better maintained. I was wrong.”

“Stay here if you want to hear intimate moments of your neighbors waking you through the night. I'm not a prude. The walls and doors are paper thin. Dirty entry to building.Dirty halls, Dirty room. Moldy shower. Yellow gunk, hair and God knows what else thriving behind the bathroom door. The elevator cried with every move, beat up, wallpaper ripped, chunks of paint knocked off the sad walls. The whole place smelled like dog pee. This needs torn down or shut down and sanitized and rebuilt. Gross.”

“Very dirty, peeling paint, large hole in bathroom wall, toilet didn't flush, sheets were stained, I couldn't get into my room due to the door being damaged, the pool was closed, I had to pay $60 up front in cash for a deposit on top of the room rate - had to use their ATM for the cash and was charged $3.75. I did get the $60 back when I checked out but I will never stay here again.”

“The room size & having a kitchen was fantastic. The only drawback was we had 3 people & the room was listed as having a pull out couch & it did not. The bed was TINY, even for 2 people.”
