Cozy cottage close to beach

Rain kept us inside for much of our stay; the cottage had everything we needed for a bad weather weekend.

We absolutely love staying at Chase’s Ocean Grove in Dennisport, MA! The property is always spotless, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. This isn’t our first time staying here, and it certainly won’t be our last—as long as it’s available, we’ll continue to book it.The location is perfect—just a minute’s walk to the beach, which is always clean and safe. You can leave your belongings out without worry, thanks to the friendly and respectful atmosphere. The team at New England Rentals was wonderful, even getting us into the house early after a long travel day.There’s so much to do in the area, and the house itself feels very special to us. We’re already looking forward to booking again next year and the year after. We just can’t say enough good things about this place!

Beach access doesn't get better than this! This was perfect for my family, who wanted to roll out of bed and start fishing. Loved the availability of a/c and fans - thank you from the bottom of my overheated heart. Despite a blow out party over the holiday, it was quiet and despite the weirdly mushy bed, I slept like a baby and enjoyed the instant gratification of a tea kettle at breakfast and bedtime. The property management company is prompt and extremely communicative and graciously allowed us to dash back in for forgotten fridge items. I still find it weird that Cape rentals largely skip linens as this is not the case in other coastal areas, but we found a great couple of animal shelters to donate them to afterwards. Note, there is a big step from the living room into kitchen, so this would not be accessible for some folks.

September get-away cottage

We stayed off-season. The cottage is right on Old Wharf Rd, which could be noisy in the summer, but was very quiet in September. The cottage is nicely ventilated with windows that permit cross breezes. There's an easy and safe stroll to the beach. The cottage was very clean and decently equipped. The bathroom is tight but adequate. We found the beds to be a bit too soft. I did not know whether blankets would be provided - they are. However, you need to bring dishtowels as well as bath towels and bed linens.
