Property appeared clean and well taken care of. Exception being the room smelled musty when we arrived. Turning up the fan and air seemed to help. Breakfast was geat with a good selection and staff kept it refilled. Desk clerk refused to give us a printed receipt.

Shower water pressure was low and the water temperature wasn't as expected. Had to open the faucet all the way to max for the water to be warm. The morning front desk attendant wasn't very pleasant to deal with. Not even a smile or a you're welcome. The evening attendant was awesome! Very attentive, and pleasant to speak with. The breakfast was not good. The sausage and tater tots were leftovers from the day before; they were dry and hard. I will not return to this hotel and the rate I paid was not worth it.

Thank you so much for your review. We can assure you we have water bottles in our suite shop for sale since we are not a full-service hotel. We cannot run to your room and bring water. We do offer complimentary ice-cold water in our lobby 24 hours.We have wide variety of toiletries in room and can assure you every room has ample, along with a sign that clearly states if you need more come to the front desk.We apologize, unfortunately we are a MID Scale hotel with limited services.best Wishes

I’ve stayed here a few times now, good dining options and convenient shopping. Downtown Denton is nice for dining. Other than some construction it’s convenient to Dallas. I like staying here because when I’m ready to head north out of town I’m already out of Dallas traffic.

Wow! I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The price was really great. It was super clean, the room was very large, the lobby was newly remodeled but the service was wonderful. Webyner greeted us and was so personable. He made us feel very welcome. Will stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel every year since it was built. We set up at an event at Texas Motor Speedway every year, and this is our hotel every year. Each year, the condition of the hotel declines. We leave for our event early in the morning, which is ok during the week because breakfast is served at 6 am. But Saturday, we have to get it elsewhere because it starts at 7 on weekends. Holiday Inn next door has breakfast early on weekends. I know this because one of our friends stays there every year. No ice or vending on floors other than 1. Machines have been removed. Just frustrating. This property was always our favorite, and I doubt I will book it again.

Property looks better from outside then inside it has a strong stale moldy smell which is hard to sleep with a/c was loud and didn’t work well woke up with it being really hot even thought I set it low I wish we would have went with another hotel

Online shows pictures with hot tub at pool, we got there and it’s been filled. Pool was nice but no tub. Beds super uncomfortable, smells like your sleeping in bleach. Couch pull bed was completely horrid. Pointless to list as a bed.

Property is in an industrial/construction area and not easily accessible. Rooms are outdated and air I ditto ing smelled of mildew. Police cars patrolling the area and hotel directly next door. A lot of loitering outside by people, did not feel the safest.

Met the requirement for clean safe lodging. The shower wasn’t hot & the $50 deposit is insulting. To add insult to injury, the deposit is not immediately refunded & I am not being paid interest while deposit is being refunded a week or more later. Ridiculous that there is a deposit required. While the facility was quite nice, based on there being a deposit, Laquinta must cater to or attract the ilk of customers who trash rooms. I’m thinking I should find somewhere better to lodge for future stays.

We are saddened to hear your stay was less than perfect. But to touch on a couple of things that you brought up. The incidental deposit is a common practice amongst many hotels. This is to combat stolen, broken, destroyed items in the rooms. This is not to be insulting to anyone. But to also help to combat the ilk you speak of. We are sorry if you felt any insult towards yourself. But there was none meant to you or any other of our welcomed guests. Also we release the deposit from our side the same day you check out. But your bank may put a hold for 3-5 business days depending on the bank. This is why we offer a receipt for your card at check out to help to expedite this process.best wishes & safe travelsJ. They are currently having renovations done. But our night there was great. The rooms are clean, the shower was hot, and breakfast the next day was delicious. Also the staff were all great!

Our tv in our room didn’t work. One of the bed frame made so much noise when you moved. We told the front desk but the person working there simply ignored us and didn’t say anything.

Room was modern and clean. Staff was very accommodating. Had a couple things I needed staff to respond to and they were very helpful. The location is on I-35 with tons of construction at this time, so be prepared. Complimentary breakfast was 7 AM to 10 AM, allowing for flexible morning schedule. I’d stay here again.

The front desk clerk was very rude. They made put a security deposit and then when I was checking out it took almost 30 min to go check room before they would give it back.
