Our stay was pleasant and peaceful. The property was clean and in good condition. The staff was very polite and the breakfast was decent. All around a good experience.

Issues with Fairfield by Marriott: When checking in, could not add my Marriott number - clerk claimed because it was booked thru Expedia. We stayed at the exact same Fairfield five days prior, and the clerk was able to attach my Marriott number then, Rooms don't have blackout shades. So bright spotlights from the parking lot blind you when you're trying to sleep. Room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Really need to rip up carpet that has to be 20 years old. Loud - the room we got was pretty close to the road, but the windows have poor sound attenuation, so every car and truck was clearly audible. Will definitely not be staying at this property again. No idea how this is rated 8.2 on Expedia.

I had called to make sure their shuttle would be able to handle my mobility scooter. I was told no problem but when checking in was told they could not handle a mobility scooter.

It's okay. Very friendly front desk staff. Just a tired hotel with dated decor and not great upkeep. Rooms have paper thin walls so you hear everything next door. Not my best night in a soulless airport hotel. Not my worst either.

For an overnight stop, it’s about what you would expect. The walls are very thin so we heard everyone throughout the night. If it’s just a one night stop before a flight, it’s worth it. If longer, I suggest looking elsewhere.

The room was fine but my truck was broken into while on property. The damage will be over $500. Outdoor lighting was very dim and the property warns that they are not responsible for vehicle damage or theft. This experience will definitely cause me to stay away from this property and the chain in the future.

Hello George,Im very sorry to hear about your recent issues, Its very unfortunate that that happened. Being that Denver has one of the highest rates for vehicle crimes we have our shuttle drivers drive thru the parking lot to keep an eye on it which has reduced the issues quite a bit . We hope this doesnt stop you from visiting again

The staff at the front desk were fantastic, but the room was quite dirty. On the side of the bed there was heavy accumulations of dust and a dusty floss pik, the toilet paper holder was broken. The tv was great and easy to use and the bed was comfortable.

My only issue is that housekeeping only came by one during the three days we were there. Otherwise the staff was very nice and accommodating.

Convenient and comfortable
Overnight from the airport en route to Colorado Springs. Convenient location. Easy drive with rental car from airport. Ate great food at a restaurant across the road at the Doubletree. Good breakfast buffet (everything from sausage and eggs to oatmeal, cereals, toast, bagels, tortillas, etc. Great coffee in the lobby (tea available). Ice water for your water bottles in the lobby too. Cute little indoor pool (no time to go for a swim). Fridge and microwave in room. Only complaint was the bathroom had a bit of a musty smell at first, but dissipated once we propped the bathroom door open for awhile (didn't want to stay open; propped open by jamming a towel under the door like a door stop). Oh, and the soap/shampoo/conditioner pumps in the walk-in shower were hung too high. Our 11 year old had difficulty using them (was shot in the face). Should mounted lower and opposite spigot on back wall out of shower spray. Parking was only $10. I would definitely stay here again. Airline pilots were also staying here and seemed familiar with the staff (felt like they approved too).

Took 15 minutes to check in. One person was having a problem and the desk person struggled to help them. Room was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast was poor. Eggs and potatoes bread and cereals was it. They are doing the minimum here on breakfast.

When I am selecting hotels in the DIA area I look for ratings and reviews, as well as price. I stay at hotels in the area frequently. My experience has been paying for parking refers to long-term parking, ie leaving the car in the lot while traveling. So I was surprised when I arrived after 24 hours of traveling from Europe, to find that I had to pay $10 just for overnight. We received no info on internet access, breakfast hours; the cleaner tried to enter our room while we were still checked in bed (8:00ish in the am); TV remote did not work--could not turn it off. (It was on when we arrived and still on when we left--luckily we could turn the sound down); you could hear the click of key cards all around us, which was annoying. I will not be returning.
