There were strange people standing all over the place smoking right outside my room. I was a lady by myself and they just didn't feel safe there was trash cans dumped over on the sidewalk. The front desk guy was super nice when I called him and told him that I didn't have hot water he came and moved me to a different room right away. Problem was that I went to the next room and it also did not have hot water. Neither TV in either room really worked it only had one channel on it and it was junk TV. The towels were clean and the sheets were clean but the rest of the room was nasty.

Don’t expect your room to be cleaned throughout the time you’re staying. We told the counter twice for the staff to clean the room, however, for all the four days that we’ve stayed, there was not even one cleaning service. The bedsheets had stains and the blanket was filled with hair. We had to remove the bedsheet and the blanket. We had to slip with our own blanket. out of the many budget places we’ve stayed at this is by far the worst experience! Even with low expectations, this place will disappoint you. Despite its budget offering, still not worth it.

I understand safety precautions, however. If your legal name is a longer version of the name you use day to day AND your reservation number is in an email on your phone, your address at registration matches your id address...Your credit card used to make the reservation matches the one you are checking in with. That should be enough proof that you are the same person checking in that made the reservation. Not to mention ID picture matches the face in front of you!One should not be required to call Expedia to then change the name on your reservation in order to check in for room already paid for. Names such as Thomas and Tom, Katherine and Kat, Janet and Jan etc. Ridiculous and unn ecessary! Many people use shortened versions of their name.
