This was one of the coolest places I've ever stayed.
I stayed one night in early September because I was seeing My Favorite Murder live at the Paramount Theatre and it was within walking distance. I stayed in the smallest room (one of the Pony Suites) and it was much bigger than I expected. The decor (in both the room and the mansion) was really unique and had a vintage feel to it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I really loved my stay here and will definitely stay again if I am in the area
Fantastic property with exceptional ambiance, friendly staff, terrific location, unique decor, relaxing bar/restaurant, and comfortable rooms. There’s really nothing more one could ask for in a home away from home. Can’t wait to go back!
Staff is extremely helpful and kind. The hotel is in a great location (5 min walk down to 16th street market) and the hotel is a unique bed and breakfast feel. We will be back!
We live in CO and needed a room for a one night "staycation" in downtown Denver. This place was wonderful. The hotel is great and the staff are excellent. The room was spotless and the bed was really comfortable. Urban Cowboy Denver is a gem of a hotel if you need to stay downtown. The location is an easy walk to downtown activities, food and bars. It is a much longer walk to the LoDo/Union Station area, however, so if your planning to go there, you will probably want to get a lift from your preferred vendor. (We stayed one night in a King Suite and it was excellent.)
Tried this new place and I have to say I loved it! We come to Denver often and this will be our new spot. Check-in was super easy. The lobby area decor was elevated. The room was clean and loved the copper tub and full shower bath. Fireplace- comfy bed- and a hot bath was perfection for a night in Denver. We hope to come back again soon!
The tshirts in lobby were a great gift for a friend back home and high quality.
Staff was amazing and friendly!
Nicole is great hospitality manager and Alex, Claire all the stuff so attentivei caring solving any issue you have. Hotel has great atmosphere historical. There are hot drink free of charge avaliable all day plus when you arrive before 7 pm back to hotel proseco vine and visky is offered for those who drinks. Hotel's bar restaurant cowboy is also great menu staff atmosphere. Great location in the heart of Denver city. Free parking. If I ever travel again will stay in Urban Cowboy again.
The hotel is amazing! It’s full of personality: quirky, unique, and still very luxurious. The room had everything I needed, with an incredibly comfy mattress and the coolest décor (loved the Pendleton sheets!). Also super clean which I appreciated as it's not always the case in older buildings.
The bath was a lovely bonus, and the shampoo provided smelled so good! The location is also super convenient (walking distance to downtown). The house is located in the middle of buildings so you don't get the best view ever and it's a bit dark but part of the charm.
I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for something stylish, comfortable, and full of character.

Liked: Cleanliness
We expected a quaint hotel and understood that it was a boutique building with renovations. The person who checked us in was delightful. The downsides were unexpected. We had no TV, nothing with drawers to store clothing, the shower provided only super hot or cold water. There was no housekeeping unless requested and the front desk was available from 10 AM to 6 PM.
Such a unique experience and a wonderful getaway! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We went to the cocktail bar and pizzeria next door and I highly recommend it. Perfect night!
Staff was friendly and accomodating. I loved the Pendleton robes and bedding. The text communications were very nice prior to check in and during the stay. Coffee in the bar area was nice. Other reviews mentioned street noise. I was on the third floor and when I made a point to listen for cars, I did notice. It would only be a problem for light sleepers.
I stayed at this hotel with my husband for a weekend getaway. We were impressed with the interior design and staff. Everyone was extremely accommodating and friendly. There’s a wine bar on the first floor and a restaurant next door. Great place and convenient location for exploring Denver downtown.
Absolutely loved our stay here. The main floor is like being transported back in time to a beautiful wealthy, classic Denver historic home. Warm and inviting and so much to look at and enjoy.. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and the clawfoot bathtub absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back. The hosts of this property are welcoming and make you feel like you’re at home, not a hotel.
Don’t miss out on this amazing boutique hotel. It is historically charming, has all the amenities you’re looking for, located in a perfect location. Urban Coyboy is a great vibe. The staff was great, attentive, knowledgeable, but respectful of privacy. The rooms were so comfortable. The claw foot, brass tubs were a perfect addition to the feel of the hotel. You will not be disappointed.
The hotel was prime location, the host on arrival Annalise was absolutely delightful, wish she could have shared a welcome cheers. It felt homey and eclectic and the right kind of not the norm. I loved the parlor and the opportunity to meet other guests. Historical Informative and fun- it’s also bigger on the inside with I believe she said 16 rooms total. We had a blast and the saloon (bar) was also a great time pre-concert for us. The bartender was kind, knowledgeable but not snobby and made the best lemon drop I’ve had in years. Thank you for a fantastic weekend. This would be a great place to book with friends if you are headed to an event. I loved not having a tv in my room and the tub…is now on my wish list.
