Amazing stay

This was such an amazing trip and experience. The place we stayed was exactly like the photos!! I am used to some things being less than great but this was an amazing stay and view. It was clean and quiet, and the check in was EASY! I WILL be back and I couldn’t have picked a more central location either. Everything is less than 15mins away either direction!

Great time!

Visited the condo the week of Hurricane Milton but only had one day that umbrellas weren’t raised because of wind. Condo was beautiful and very clean with comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. On the 6th floor but elevators were fast and didn’t need to wait. Free beach service was very nice. People at the desk were very polite and helpful.

April Destin Stay

Property and condominium was very clean. The only problem we had with the condominium is that the door to the bathroom for the master bedroom did not close. The property has a nice pool with chairs and tables around the pool but one was prohibited from eating or drinking anything at the pool. Would have liked to be able to drink water or have a snack at the poolside.

Fantastic quick getaway

Our family only had a small amount of days to go away on vacation this summer so we took a leap on a place we had never been. We had stayed in the area in the past at another property but it was larger and for more people. The holiday surf and racquet club was perfect for a couple and 2 young kids. Weather worked out great. We took advantage of many of the amenities. Racquet and pickleball rental, shuffle board, pool on site, complimentary 2 chair and umbrella setup on the beach (go down early 8am or so and see if you can claim a spot) all made our 3 day trip wonderful. We even arrived late Thursday at 1130 pm and someone was there at the desk to welcome us (email them ahead of time to let them know you are coming late). Great stay, would stay again.

Perfect location!!!

We loved the location of the property. You are five minutes from all the activities and restaurants, plus your steps from the beach. We were able to watch the dolphins in the gulf every day, usually morning and evening. If you are sitting on the balcony to relax, it is loud with the acoustics of the pool. Please don’t leave your shoes on the shoe rack going to the beach. My husbands and sons shoes were stolen. Otherwise, it is a great place.

The Mermaid Farmhouse

Wonderful place!! We loved it! This place looked exactly as expected per description and pics. It is located directly over the tennis/pickle ball courts and pool. It was fun watching ppl play on the courts. Beautiful view of gulf with very easy access. Only thing I would mention is the beds are quite high off the floor if that’s a problem for you. They are extremely comfortable! Not handicap accessible but not advertised as such. This place did not disappoint!! Go here! We did not want to leave today!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First and foremost the bathroom was dirty, and the toilet was for a kids. They should have had an approval ADA toilet. Second the electric stove wouldn't shut down and the heat light stayed on all the time. Had to turn the power off at the breaker. The couch had stain on them just not a clean place.

This Will Be Our Room From Now On When We Visit!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room and view was amazing. This is by far the best room we have stayed in at this location. Will be returning soon to this room. We did have an issue with the bed in the master bedroom but guest services had it repaired quickly. The two things I would say needs updating about this room is the showers need detachable sprayers. Sand does not wash off little ones easy. The room needs a cordless hardfloor vacuum. I like to keep our unit tidy while staying and it is impossible to get all of the sand from the floor. Other than that this room is perfect. Two king size beds with two bathrooms.

Gave us time to grocery shop. The proximity to ocean is great. There are 2 elevators servicing the building. The 1 major knock is no in-unit washer/dryer. They are by elevators on every other floor. Good for us they were on the 6th floor where we stayed. The unit is newly renovated and looks great. 2 master beds and 1 queen blow up. Also a lot of couch space that could easily sleep 3 more people. The amenities were great. Pool, tennis, shuffle board, movie rentals for the kids on the 1 rainier day. We’d certainly stay in same unit again

Reviewer Comments: Rental unit was superb with only one exception....the handle on the pantry door across from the island in the kitchen is a railroad spike. It needs to be changed because it protrudes into the walkway to the living room area and can cut or bruise your elbow or arm if you're not careful walking past it.

Amazing Stay

My family could not have had the most amazing experience in Destin without Holiday Surf. The condo we rented has a beautiful ocean view . It is close to many commercial locations, including restaurants, harbor walk, shopping stores, and markets. We had everything needed within an arm reach. The condo appeared to be newly renovated with a full kitchen, clean and modern appliances all around the unit. Loved the rustic theme through out this unit. Perfect vacation for family!
