Family Get Away

We had a great family get away at this condo! We had our infant grandson with us and the balcony was perfect for us to sit out with him while parents were enjoying the beach. It’s shaded yet has a great view!! Everything was so nice and clean. And the SHORT walk to the beach was the best!! Hope to book again for our next beach vacay!

Condo was clean.close to the beach. But bugs are in your couch. Two of my sisters got bitten by bed bugs plz ck your couch for bed bugs. We had a nice stay. Bed bugs comes out late at night.

My family and I truly enjoyed the property and our unit. Plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the Friday night pool party, meeting other guests and owners. Our unit was well appointed, WiFi connection was good, the bathrooms were updated very well, plenty of towels and all of the necessary kitchenware and utensils. The sunrise view from the balcony was the best. The beach service team was outstanding! George and his guys made sure that my daughters were comfortable and would adjust our seating and umbrellas for the best shade throughout the day. Overall a great vacation at a great price point. Dirty

The property overall was well kept. The condo was not. The balcony was filthy and the inside did not look like the pictures shown in listing. When we stripped the beds before we left (to help the cleaning people), there were pee stains on the mattress pads. Also, the day of checkout, the maid was knocking on our door at 8 am. Clearly they had used a filter in pictures. Needs to be repainted, redone, etc. Not fancy. If you are looking for something really basic, this is it.

Beautiful location.

My granddaughers and I had a great vacation here. My only concern would be the lack of linens in the kitchen. I went out and bought an oven mitt after I burned myself using a towel for that purpose. I have stayed at other properties that at least minimal supplies in the kitchen, i.e. salt and pepper, foil. This kitchen did not have anything like that. But, overall I will say I would stay there again if I was coming to Destin, I would just know I needed to pack more of my own supplies. I was disappointed that I texted the number given to see about a beach package and never received a reply. And, we did not have any kind of welcome or instruction booklet available that would have told us restaurants or places of interest near by that were recommended.

The Best Place For Families

We love this place and will be back for many years to come. The activities for kids like movie in the grass and kickball made this a child’s paradise. My son met some new friends. This place is perfect for families with little kids. No super high rise, green space in the middle, and a beautiful beach and pool.

Perfect Getaway

The condo was attractive, clean, roomy and very well appointed. Beds were super comfortable too and I’m picky about mattresses. The balcony had an awesome setup. I sat and played games with my grandson and read. I brought a book but read it in 24 hours so I took advantage of the existing book collection and read 4 more while I was there. The books and games were a nice addition. I would suggest mentioning the coffee maker uses basket filters vs cone. There were none so I had to run to the store. I left some behind for the next guests. The air fryer was a great touch. Thank you for opening up your condo. It was a memorable and much needed vacation. I would highly recommend the condo.

I highly recommend this lovely unit. It was exactly as described in the listing. Decor very inviting, and the check in process was easy. It was spotless and well stocked. Beds & linens were extremely pleasing and comfortable. Beach was amazing but a bit of a walk if you use the included beach chairs. Overall excellent experience!

Fantastic stay!

It was a perfect stay for 2 familles with kids. Beautiful well equipped apartment with gorgeous gulf view. Gated community, so we felt very safe. Private beach, beach access with shower, reserved beach chairs and umbrella.

Best Vacation Stay

Talk about family friendly!!! The property was so nice and clean. Family events scheduled in the evenings right on the property! We got to enjoy a movie on the lawn and s’mores with live music. We were maybe 50-100 steps from our condo door to the beach. I still can’t get over how clean and nice our condo was, not to mention the staff! Will be coming back!

Girls Trip

This is an amazing property , very clean, fully equipped with everything except washing and dryer. The condo is super beautiful inside & the view is amazing. My girls and I were very impressed when we walked in the door. I will definitely do a repeat on my next trip to Destin.

R & R At the Beach

Silver Dunes is always great, and this say was no exception. The condo was clean, well furnished, and comfortable. The beach was beautiful as always. The only issue with the condo is no washer/dryer in the unit, but we got by well for a week by bringing enough clothes. There is a laundry on site for a couple of dollars. Just bring some quarters. The porch furniture could use some cushions. So bring those as needed also. The main issue with Silver Dunes, as with most of the condos, is traffic on highway 98. But overall, it's a wonderful place for a vacation. We've been coming for over 40 years!
