This house is adorable. Plenty of room. So close to the beach. Pool was awesome too! The street and area is perfect. Best place we have stayed in Destin!

Graduation Trip

What a beautiful home right near the beach! It was only a short walk to get to the ocean. I loved the private pool.. It was a great way to wrap each day up spending time in the pool with my family! The Flying Dutchman @ Crystal Cove was a perfect vacation home for us.

Destin Gem

The house could not have been lovelier. Beautifully decorated and very charming and comfortable . The kitchen was great with a huge round table that accommodated 10 people. We went for spring break so we were not able to use the pool since it was not heated. It’s still too cool in Destin in March to swim in an unheated pool. At least for us. Just for information, the beach access that is directly in front of the street was not available to us. It was a private access. We did have to walk further down to access beach. Just be aware in case you have a lot of beach equipment or very small children. Bring a cart. Also, if you are bringing high school or college aged kids for spring break, just be aware that the HOA is pretty strict on adult to under 25 person ratio. 1:4, as well as noise. Several other houses had their guests evicted mid week. It’s understandable, these are luxury vacation homes, and many people in the neighborhood live there full time. If your group doesn’t have enough adults or wants to be more boisterous for their spring break, I would probably choose another rental. It is a very clean, wonderfully decorated, comfortable home in a beautiful and centrally located neighborhood.

Great Location just a walk across the street to the beach

The house was very well maintained and had lots of room for the 6 of us . It was equipped with all the major necessities in the kitchen for cooking except a can opener . (No big deal , we borrowed one from a neighbor ) All the beds were comfortable n the decor was very nice . Loved the big round table in the kitchen nook . The pool was good size , just wish it was a heated pool because we were only able to swim in it one day . The grill was great to have , we used it several times . The house was three houses down from the road to cross over to the beach , only took a minute or two to get to the beach . Loved the area , beautiful homes and close to everything . We enjoyed it very much . Will definitely be back .

Fantastic Location

This adorably updated home is fantastic for large groups! It has perfectly sized entertaining spaces to allow the whole group to be together throughout the trip. The house is steps away from the beach! I would suggest renting chairs and umbrellas at the beach, the entrance next to the house is a private beach throughout the day, and the public access point is a bit of a walk. The home is equipt with everything you need, and the management company is always reachable. The only negatives we had during our stay were that the electricity throughout the backyard (deck, pool light, and porch) did not work, and the house only had one hair dryer for both bathrooms. Our group was primarily women, so I'd suggest at least one more full-length mirror in the home and one more hairdryer. Overall we had a wonderful time and will definitely be visiting again!
