We had a problem with our room, was addressed the minute we got there. No one ever came nor called to fix the problem. We had to spend extra money. So disappointing when you’re on vacation.

Everything I hoped it would be
The view along with the sound of the ocean is everything we went to vacation for. The on site Manager, Sandy, was so incredibly helpful he gets 5 stars in my book. Look forward to next time. It was truly amazing.

Short notice exceeded expectations.
Perfect short notice trip to visit family from far away. An amazing property with everything we needed onsite and nearby. Spending time with family was precious but this property made it all the more memorable. Highly recommend and was I was extremely happy to get this property on such short notice.

Perfect Fall Break!
Beautiful resort and pool. Easy check-in process, even though we arrived very late. Friendly staff when we arrived for confirmation of check-in and check-out. Convenient location to shopping and dining. Great value for this resort, we are already looking at going back!

As for the property it’s self we loved it! Great location! However, upon arrival at the unit there was no running water. They got the water on within a few hours of me calling but I the running water quit and I had to call and complain EVERY DAY of our stay. We needed to leave at 5am the day of checkout to catch our flight and that morning, again, we got up to no running water so none of us were able to take a shower before a long day of travel and we all brushed our teeth with bottled water. If this had only been an issue the day of arrival that would have been one thing but the fact that I had to call and complain to get something done every single day of the day seems a little ridiculous to me. Hopefully they get that issue resolved before renting out that unit again so no one else has to deal with it.

Stay was Wonderful check in by James made it easy, would scored cleanness higher , stove wasn't clean, from last guess ,wear the mop and beach chairs kept very dirty.

Nice place with great pool, private beach
Love the location of silver shells. Loved the pool. The beds were not very comfortable. The kitchen did not have very much in it so had to purchase alot for our atay. Would stay again, maybe just a different condo...it needs some updating.

Beautiful condo with tons of amenities excellent. Underground parking. Very clean rooms well maintained grounds. Workout rooms were great. Location of beach is wonderful because right next door is a state park with pristine untouched beaches. Also within walking distance is one of the areas highly acclaimed restaurants The Back Porch. Would definitely go back and recommend highly.

Silver Shells Family Get Together
My family and I got together for a long weekend and this worked out perfect for us. The Condo is close to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores and fun things to do. The condominium was clean with nice amenities. We really enjoyed the secured entrance from both the road and the beach along with the nice gas grills that we used two of the nights. The only dings I would give would be better directions for afterhours check in and a few more dish towels, we only had one. Other than that we had a wonderful stay. Dan & Patty T.

Nice location but rooms need updating!!
The location was perfect, on the beach and view of the water. The furnishing were very dated: sofa literally slumps to the floor, carpet is very dirty, the pipes vibrated with a terrible sound every time we flushed the toilet and we had to remove a huge clump of hair from the bathroom sink to get it to drain. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were flat and minimal with no blanket on the beds. This was off season for them but there was no towels to use at the pool or in the fitness center. Workout equipment was very dated and in need of repair. The dry and wet sauna was not functioning in the locker rooms

great apartment, not so good service
I stay started with problems. I called to announce late check in (almost midnight) but the package was not prepared at the entrance, I had to call and visit three locations before I got the keys and the package. Next problem: the apartment was not on the beach, as listed. I called the hotel, but the agent was not interested and he directed me to Hotels.com. Fortunately, agent on hotels.com was extremely helpful and she found a solution for us. I never had such a cold and uninterested agent at a hotel. Other than this, apartment was spacious, great open spaces, lots of light, we truly enjoyed it.

Quick family get away
We visited Destin for a quick spring get away. This resort was pricey for us but turned out to be worth it. It's right on the beach, a wonderful large area of white sand, nice waves, good for walks in either direction. It's incredibly close to stores so we could quickly stock up on food and snacks for our four children and us. It's a quiet area at least when we visited..meaning no noise from neighbors. We liked that the elevator was secured with an electronic key and opened directly into our room; the elevator is the front door. We had a problem with the Internet but it wasn't a big deal since we are fairly busy. We'd stay here again.

We went in early October and had a great stay. The location is good. You can walk to a few restaurants and stores if you need to. There is a little walk to the beach depending on what building you stay in but no roads to cross, so if you don't mind exercise and a winding path through courtyards and around buildings, it's great. The pool is beautiful and clean, and the ocean view was spectacular day and night.

Affordable luxury at its best
The room was very good sized and immaculate. Everything was well-stocked and we had all the appliances and kitchen stuff we needed. The view of the gulf was obscured by other buildings but it was better than nothing and the view of the city at night was actually quite pretty. The beach was gorgeous although there was a smaller number of chairs and umbrellas than I had hoped so we couldn't always get one. The people at the front desk were extremely helpful and polite. The cardio room and the weight lifting room were excellent and had plenty of equipment. The best stay I think I have had in years. We WILL be returning.
