Close to activities/beaches

The owners were very responsive and great to make us feel comfortable. We loved our private balcony by the water. We had everything we needed in terms of dishes, utensils, laundry facility, dishwasher. Loved how close we were to everything! Awesome time was had by us and our puppy Ozark too! We ended up staying an extra day!

Awesome Location

This is a great place to stay. It is close to the beaches, restaurants and shops. It looks exactly like the pictures. I love sitting on the deck looking at the water and turtles. It is very clean and updated. I would stay here again if we decide to return. Matthew and Sarah communication was great. We didn't need anything but they stayed in contact.

Pleasant stay

Cozy space. Unit had everything we needed. Would have loved a heated pool and hot tub. I didn’t realize it was second floor and I have bad knees but that’s on me for not paying closer attention. All and all it was a great basic unit for the week. We enjoyed ourselves.

Great place for a quick getaway

We greatly enjoyed our stay in Destin. The condo was perfect for what we needed…something affordable, yet comfortable and clean. The decor was on point. Bed was comfy. Even the pull out couch was comfortable! We liked being close to a lot of stores and restaurants. Will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time for our first trip to Destin. The place was very nice & exactly as promoted

The place was perfect for my husband & I. We really enjoyed watching the birds & turtles on the lake from the balcony. We cooked several meals there and had plenty of dishes & cookware. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated having Hulu as a tv option. We were close to a number of beaches we visited and lots of restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the sun!

Nicely maintained place

Overall everything was great, beach access was the only downfall. Could be that we didn’t know any better but with all the resorts, we had to drive to find public beach access. Not a huge deal, but would recommend putting a little book of some sort in the condo with useful local info for guests to reference for this type of situation or others. I would still choose to stay here again.

Winter Trip

Loved this condo! It was tastefully decorated and had many great updates...and it was super clean. The fireplaces, one in the frontroom and one in the bedroom, were a nice touch, too. The porch was also wonderful for relaxing, sipping your favorite drink and/or simply watching all the turtles bask around the pond in the sun. The beach, grocery store, outlet shops, restaurants, beach shop(s), water park, etc. were all close. (Many places were within walking distance.) Our hosts were awesome! They were easy to get in touch with and were always quick to respond, and that's always a huge plus in my book.

Water Problem!

I wish I could say I enjoyed my stay here… Cons: The rug had black, moldy stains on one side which led to the realization that there was a longterm leak spreading from the kitchen. The owners told me that they "have a new rug on order..." The water had been pooling under the floor for months, so stepping on certain areas of the laminate would cause water to squelch and squeeze up through the cracks. While Matthew was responsive in addressing the leak right away (which took up most of the first day of my vacation), this didn’t help with the existing, dirty water seeping up from under the floor throughout my entire week stay. No bare or sock feet for me! I never received an apology for this water issue - nor acknowledgment for discovering it in the first place - nor a response to the follow-up message I sent upon departure. Additionally, a lamp was broken, we could never get the ice maker to work and the shower didn’t stay hot for long. Pros: The view of the pond was lovely - watched soft-shell turtles and a sweet duck family. The unit was otherwise clean - and the bed very comfortable. The renovations done in the unit would’ve been beautiful if not for the water problem.
