The house was amazing, So much room. We had little ones and they had plenty of room. The pool was right by our house so that’s a bonus. The house was simply gorgeous. Would definitely stay here again.

Beach weekend !!!

We book this home last minute for a family reunion beach getaway . Everything was top notch. Super super clean place! We loved the decor and how spacious it is. The kitchen is fully equipped so just bring food and spices & cooking oil . The pool is right across which is a plus. We did had a small issue with wifi and tv and they did try to resolve the issue but other than that this place and location is superb. There was great communication between us. We highly recommend this beautiful home. We are definitely coming back!!

NON RESPONSIVE

vacasa was completely non responsive via email or phone. During our last night at the house someone broke an exterior window. After being on hold with vacasa and emailing with no response, i had to file a police report so we werent liable for the damange. Other than this, the house was nice and clean. It is a stretch that 3 cars fit in the driveway. We made it work but it was tough. The house is across from the pool and the pool was very nice. I would go back to the community but maybe not book via vacasa.

Loved This Home, Hate The Parking

I loved the home. It was very spacious and clean. It had all what we needed and the community was well kept. I loved the pool area. It gave us an additional fun factor that saved us a day or two of money. It was near Waffle House, Walmart and other shopping areas. I gave this home a 4 because the parking was TERRIBLE. We had a 5bedroom home with parking for only 2 cars. Where we had 4 vehicles. The parking lots were always full and there were security passing red towing tickets all the time. At some point of the trip we started parking at the Vacasa building on the highway which was like 5 min away. So it made us have to keep getting another vehicle to drop us back to our vehicle. Also the washer did not spin which left our clothing soaked. And the dryer did not get hot. Which made us have to dry one batch of clothing 3 times. Otherwise this place was cool. I wouldn’t recommend this home if you have more than two vehicles. While there are other homes in that same community with more parking spots.

Dirty and Dusty

The shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom was soiled with black mold, the shower drains were clogged in both upstairs bathrooms, the walls and baseboards were soiled and stained, the blinds and ceiling fans had thick dust, and the vents were badly rusted. I was very dissapointed in the appearance of this home. If it was being properly cleaned in between stays, none of the before mentioned details would be observed. I will never stay in this home again.

Nice place but several issues

I want to note a few things that I hope will be helpful for future guests. The location is excellent, you are very close to the pool and the shuttle pickup for the beach (which is also very very nice). Overall, the house was as described in terms of the layout and amenities. The third floor loft was excellent for the kids to have their own space. The kitchen was stocked with pretty much everything you need (except coffee filters!) so I was pleased with all of those things. Here are a few things that did not make me happy, especially considering what you have to pay to go to the beach these days. We called about the dryer not working on or 2nd day there. 9 days later, and I still have not heard from anyone, nor did anyone ever show up. We got the dryer fixed the next day thanks to having a friend that was handy. Our 3rd day, the washing machine stopped working. I called that day (twice), I called the next day, and the following day - 4 phone calls over 3 days. No one ever showed up, no one ever called to follow up. No communication. The presented an issue for our house as we had 3 families staying for a softball tournament and uniforms had to be washed. We ended up having to take everything 2 miles down the road to a friends place. I certainly understand that maintenance can get busy and backed up, but to just never show up and never call was unacceptable. A few other odd and end things at the house: -2nd floor water pressure is extremely poor -1st floor water pressure will knock down, and the shower curtains are cloth so the floor gets soaked. We finally just covered the floor in towels for the reset of the week after the 2nd day to keep from falling when getting out the shower. -The freezer door doesn't close all the way unless you force it. -Parking -I read the reviews about the parking craziness and I too though - "ah well, folks are probably exaggerating a little". The are NOT exaggerating. At all. We rented a 5 bedroom house for 4 families and you can only park 3 cars in the driveway, even if you spend 40 minutes moving every car to perfectly fit to ensure that no tires are in the road. -If you have someone get in late, say around 1:00 AM and park on the side to unload after driving 5 hours, the security team will Seek you out and find you, and even come into your house uninvited. Completely unprofessional. Overall, the house was OK but there are some things that need to are improved.
