"The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a little snag when the email with the code went to our spam folder. It took a while to figure that out. The area seemed nice and was within walking distance to some restaurants and the U-Bahn station. "

"Very clean. Sink is outside the bathroom which is very inconvenient for hand washing after using the toilet. Iron is available from reception but reception has very few working hours so it's best to bring your own or ensure you request it on time when reception is open. "

"We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy as was check out. We left our bags for a couple of hours whilst we enjoyed our last day in Vienna. The room was clean and the kitchen area was well equipped with utensils, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery. Salt,pepper, coffee pods and teabags. "Great location steps from a fantastic local restaurant and several pubs. This is not a conventional hotel. You go fetch your own bedding and towels from the depot and check in and out on your own. But the staff are extremely accessible. High marks for sustainability."

"We stayed in the room called wald. Had a lovely stay from the warm welcome with chocolates and wine to the huge bathtub with plenty of amenities. The breakfasts were really beautifully put together and served in room which we liked. We were really grateful for the attentive hosts who even went out of their way to get us decaf coffee when requested. The room was very clean and was much larger than we expected. The views were spectacular from the windows."

"We traveled in the heart of winter. The room was warm and very comfortable. No need to pack thick PJs. Metro is across the road and takes you anywhere you want and is very cheap. SPAR sunoermarket is 2 minutes walk. ."

Simple Hotel Near Central Station

"We arrived early in the day and our room was ready when we arrived. The room was simple and clean. Three of us stayed in the room, and there was only one bed. There was ample space within the room to set up my son's travel air mattress on the floor next to the bed. They left us an extra set of sheets and blankets to use on the air mattress. The included breakfast buffet was a big hit with all but the vegan member of our family (there wasn't anything for the vegan to eat). The location, just steps from the central train station, was great for our stay in Vienna. Note that it took awhile to walk to the closest subway station -- since it required walking through the full central train station to get to it."
