“There were 8 adults and 2 children (5,10). There was plenty of room for everyone. The deck was awesome, though pretty chilly at night. The half bath accessed from the deck was convenient. There was a pleasant mix of modern and antique. The kitchen was fabulous (the large sinks definitely a plus!). For trail riders, it was a bit luxurious, but not so we were uncomfortable. “We found this apartment at the last minute of our New River Gorge National Park trip planning. It turned out a hidden gem to us. The apartment is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood of Oak Hill, a perfect home base to visit New River Gorge and other state parks in the area. “Beautiful house. Very private and quiet which is what we needed. Drove the sxs right from the house to Rockhouse trail. Hot tub was relaxing. Porch was perfect for afternoon cocktails and the back room came in handy when it was raining. Being full of windows it still felt like we were outside. Owners are wonderful, easy to deal with. As everyone said, driveway is sketchy. All in all, it was a great place. We were very happy and satisfied!! ”

“Nothing is far to get to. CVS is very close to grab snacks or items forgotten. Lovely property where host provides everything you might need. Easy to keep tidy. Appliances are new and function well. Did not use oven. Host has made was visiting friends so didn’t explore the attractions but near main roads so it seems it would be easy to get to anything. Capital Market is not far for fresh, reasonably prices groceries, terrific little cheese and wine shop. You can find many items made in WV.……
