“Amazing property! Beautiful old southern manor which has been maintained true to its heritage. We felt privileged to stay in this beautiful home. The surrounding grounds are meticulously cared for and offer a peaceful, beautiful base for a Kentucky Bourbon Trail trip. We were 11 long-time friends (five couples and one single) gathering in Kentucky for three days. The home and carriage house provided ample room for sleeping, cooking and socializing. “The hosts were extremely helpful, patient and flexible with our need for truck & trailer parking for our trip--5 stars for that! The 'barn' was excellent with lots of information about how to use the amenities in it. The location was great! Definitely recommend this space and these hosts!!”

The house was perfect for our group of 8 and remote enough that we got a great bang for our buck while still being able to get a bus for the bourbon trail. Plenty of room for people to sleep and the game room was really cool. The Captain’s quarters (master bedroom) was amazing! I’d definitely stay again. ”

“Other than the hornets nests on the back deck the property was gorgeous! Wish I could have rented for more than one night! My son (almost 2) took this opportunity to figure out the stairs! Climbed straight from the bottom to the top! The home was so huge, and all the amenities and appliances felt like luxury! Way better than staying in a hotel! If only they had a pool I kept thinking! We are EKy Natives, and this Ky Stay-cation was very needed! Will be making this a summer spot that’s for sure!”
