East Riding of Yorkshire Cheap Hotels

"A small unpretentious established in a small village on the main road to Bridlington, which in fact is much better than at first sight. The rooms are set out at the rear, motel style, and are small but well equipped and perfectly adequate for a night or two. The pub, the only one in the village , has three well kept cask beers and a good selection of keg. The meals though, well, to say I had the best steak and ale pie ever in my 70 odd years would be an understatement. During the week the pub serves regular pub meals, but judging by the pictures on facebook the weekend specials look well worth the journey. The pub specialises in local produce, which is an added plus. The village itself is worth a wander, with a prehistoric monolith in the churchyard and some very interesting graves."

"A little birthday weekend away with our two spaniels and what a fantastic place. This is obviously someone’s home it was perfect. It had everything. From fold up tables to eat at if you didn’t want to use the breakfast bar, to recliner chairs and sofa. The whole house was spotless and we felt welcome from the moment we received the arrival instructions from the owner. Surrounding information sheets with information and instructions on how to use everything in the house, including the washing machine. Worth every penny, relaxing home from home you could not ask for more, we will definitely be back. "

"We stayed over for a night on a motorcycle trip. The hotel was perfect for our stay with beautiful views of the Humber from an open terrace at the back of the hotel. The room was nice and quiet with only the rabbits as neighbours. The bed was great too ensuring a good slumber near the Humber!"

"Good location, walking distance to the beach, accommodation is far away from the pub and restaurant which make it quiet, ample free parking on site. Wasted 2 hours time for a dinner in the restaurant. Food is not great enough because of the cooking skills. Breakfast bacon and hashbrown are very over cooked which made them dry and hard. "

"First sight of the hotel made me think its was a bit run down, outside paint work and car park (that was of a good size) needed some TLC. On going in the Hotel was busy, the 2 staff that where there were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was fine room was ok for me ( bathroom needed to be made over) i was in room 12 facing the road so if you a light sleeper not the best room as you face the main road. Martin who was holding the fort was on his own most of the time and did what he could to help guests, he is the chef and the meals that he did where 5 star. Behind the hotel is a Leisure Club, the pool and jacuzzi was a very nice place to relax at the end of the day."
