“Great accommodation. Only issue is the wifi doesn’t reach the van and signal is a bit of a black spot but other than that. Brilliant.”

“Extremely disappointed. Advertised as one thing (apparently Hotels.com won’t let me say what, so I have had to re word my initial complaint), when I checked in, I was given something completely different. Suffice to say, when I booked I was not expecting to be staying in a bedroom in someone’s house. Unable to get a refund dispute the proof I supplied that the booking was misrepresented. Please avoid Hotels,com are fantastic, had countless enjoyable experiences when booking with them. This……

“This is not a proper hotel - it is a hotel-like business that rents out apartments in Cambridge's post-doc city. These are located in a big block which seem to contain also private apartments, and does not have a dedicated reception. There is a reception desk, which hands keys out on behalf of the hotel but is otherwise not affiliated with Hope. When arrived, the check-in desk was unoccupied and since there was no visible sign of Hope Hotel at the building, I walked around for 15 minutes before……

“Upon arrival, we were greeted by our lovely hosts Chris and Tina. Chris kindly showed us to our Valentina tent for our 3 day stay. The tent was beautifully appointed and had a super comfy bed. Our separate kitchen area had a basket of goodies, which we felt was such a personal touch. The llamas were amazing, roaming freely outside our tent. Tina gave an interesting talk about them, whilst we were able to feed them. Our stay was truly lovely and the sunsets, other wildlife were just the ‘icing on……

“When something goes wrong there is no one to sort it out. We arrived Tuesday late afternoon and found our tv was not working, we told the girls cleaning the rooms the following day as we were leaving who made the comment “ that’s another one to add to the list “”

“The property was clean and tidy and couldn't be faulted. The problem was with their check in procedure. Phone a number which took nearly 20 minutes to get answered requiring repeated redialling. After getting the key to the room, it turned out the wrong key had been put in the keysafe box.....so... another phone call to their help desk, this time taking 25 minutes to eventually get answered. Once that was finally sorted out, all in all over 45 minutes, i ended up being late for my appointment……

“Fantastic shower,2 adjoining bedrooms with a sitting room and mini kitchen.Perfect for our requirements. Would go again without hesitation.”

“This is a great location for exploring Norfolk. We were only there one night but it was peaceful and accommodated all 3 of us with our dog. The owner was excellent with her communication but not at all intrusive. Nice touches like our own private garden with a BBQ where they kindly left some coals so we had the option to use it.”
