“I expected that the cabin would be ruined from the flood. I called a day or so before I was due to arrive when I got an automatic message about arrival. Of course I was not comfortable coming as I had a reservation for the end of camp and camps had closed and girls sent home. I said I hoped they could use my dates for volunteers or people who had lost their homes. I hope camp will open next year and I would reserve again. “We were scheduled to stay there starting July 7th but due to the tragic flooding on July 4th, we were unable to visit the property. Becky was very kind and understanding and allowed a refund for our stay. We're going to give it a little time and try to rebook what looks like a fantastic property to visit.”

“This location is absolutely fantastic. Direct access to the Frio river for swimming, fishing or just enjoying the beautiful view. We were a family group of all ages, and everyone had a wonderful time. Easy communication with the owner for questions. Highly recommend.”

“We had a wonderful stay at City on a Hill in Fredericksburg, TX! The cabin was cozy, private, and perfect for a weekend getaway from all the noise. We especially loved the jacuzzi, the well-equipped kitchenette, and the peaceful view of the creek and sky from the back patio. It was everything we needed to relax and recharge. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, quiet setting!”

“Very cozy and comfortable with a nice outside seating area that had a relaxing view of a tree lined creek. Convenient location, we were able to walk to many restaurants, the Main street shopping area and other attractions such as the Pioneer museum and the Pacific war museum. We will definitely stay at this property on our next visit.”

“Great place for our getaway will stay again soon. Just bring bed sheets. pillows and blankets and towels kitchens are full equipped for cooking. Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. The area is under a burn ban at the moment so we wasn’t able to use firepit at nights walking distance to water hole to soak your feet for the time being Leakey about a 10min drive or so. A convenience store is about a 5min drive. Garner State park is about 10min drive as well. Very……
